Hopefully you can appreciate the absolutely enormous untapped marketing potential, that’s currently buried in your cash starved struggling small business and or service.Right?

And to continue on with this train of thought.

You were aggressively building an army of top affiliate and JV partners, who based on your total compensation plan of $47 (or X) amount of dollars up front.( Or $47 dollars on the front end.)

And a whopping $525 big one’s on the back end!

Word should start to spread pretty rapidly about your rather modest compensation plan! Don’t you agree?

(In fact, there is an incredibly successful online marketer whose company uses this exact same marketing  strategy on the front end of his sales funnel, and his company is simply crushing it!)

No doubt your top affiliates and JV ( Joint Venture) partners will be constantly spreading the word all over the net especially in various forums, where tons of newbies and other veteran marketers alike all frequent from time to time.

Remember As A Savvy Marketer You Never Stop Inexpensively Testing One Approach Against Another And Let Your Marketplace Tell You Which Approach They Prefer Best…

Now another hook as part of your over all long range marketing plan is. You could also (inexpensively test) another approach and see which (if any) yields you a bigger bang for your buck.

As you already discovered in a previous post. Simply by merely A/B split testing one main power headline against another, you may discover that one headline or approach ( on or offline) will out pull another one by as much as a whopping 1,200%! Say what!

That’s correct! So just to put it in context for you; suppose that you have a rather expensive display ad, ( or a solo ad) in an ezine that you paid $575 dollars to run. And it yields you eight measly responses, but no sales! Ouch!

(Been there and done that!….)

One Of Simplest Ways To Stop Working In Your Business And Instead Start Working On It Is To Start Using A/B Split Testing Techniques As Often As Possible!

However, when you split tested it against another “Direct Response Marketing” type of free lead generating, how to problem solving type ad. Your response to that ad was a total of 96 opt in leads, (or 1,200%) better!

(96 divided by 8 =12, or approach B yielded a 1,200% increase in response!)

And it also generated a grand total of 9 sales or 37 appointments sets, or whatever the actual goal of the lead generating effort was.

The point is; by simply inexpensively A/B split testing you discovered a much more appealing way to present your offer to your ideal prospect!Did you not?

And actually lowered overall cost per lead that was previously costing you $71.87 cents apiece! ( $575 for the ad divided by 8 measly responses equals $71.87 per lead!) Ouch!

But your new market tested “Direct Response” approach only cost you a mere $5.99 apiece! ( $575 you paid for the ezine solo ad divided by 96 leads, now equals a cost per lead of just $5.99 per!)

Another Way Strategic A/B Split Testing Helps Is It Reduces Your Overall  Long Term Risk!

(Or to put it another way, you just shaved a staggering 92% off your advertising cost! How often do you think the typical small business owner does that?) ($5.99 divided by $71.87 = .08 means it cost you or your major competitors a whopping 92% less!)

Again, if you had limited cash resources, (and you probably do.) Which upfront cash outlay would you prefer? Any questions?

How To Increase Retail Sales Even When Your Virtually Starting From Scratch!

Now getting back to your marketing example of how to increase retail sales,  even though you’re virtually starting from scratch.

Let’s now dip this post in some serious real world reality! Let’s explore the most likely “real world” scenario, so that you come out of the box totally dipped in reality. And not pie in the sky hype! Fair enough?

First off, as was mentioned previously, even though you’re banking on both your top affiliates, and JV (joint venture) partners to run with this particular opportunity, because of your very lucrative total compensation plan!

Only Two Percent Of Your Registered Affiliates Will Ever Earn Any Real Consistent Income…

Here is the (oh so sad) and rarely openly admitted bare naked truth!

That you will rarely hear openly admitted in public by any of the big time gurus or gurettes!Not that they are in any way being dishonest! It’s just not the kind of inside info that they willingly share publicly!

Are you sitting down? Because like Jack Nicholson said in Oliver Stones Mega Blockbuster movie ” A Few Good Men”. “You can’t handle the truth!”

Here goes: Even though you may have read that some big time on or offline marketer has a staggering 71,234 registered affiliates! ( Totally impressive) by any criterion.Right?

The (oh so sad), untold truth is by in large, (on average) only a measly two percent of those impressive numbers ever makes any real consistent money! Nod your heads cadets it’s true!

Marketing Leverage Works Best When You Let The Organic Momentum Work For Not Against You!

Afraid so! Which means on average for every person that signs up (for free) to be one of your paid, ( 100% commissioned only) affiliates.

A staggering 98% of them will do absolutely nothing!! For any number of reasons!

That’s just the way it is! So you would be wise to simply accept this dismal reality going in and plan your strategies around it! Because if you try and swim against the current on this one, you will most definitely lose!

And you’ll quickly become extremely frustrated and totally disillusioned as well!

Just so you get a birds eye view here. If the big time marketer has 71,234 registered affiliates, two percent of that number equals 1,424 real players! The other 98% will be good for a sale or two here and there ( if that!)

It’s Definitely A Good Thing To Have Affiliates Just Keep In Mine The Vast Majority Of Them Will Consistently Do Very Little!

And they’re still part of your opt in email/mobile marketing list. And obviously they may purchase from time to time, various other products or services.

Or affiliate products or services that you offer. ( 71,234 registered affiliates  x .02% =1,424 of your most productive affiliates.)

1,424 active affiliates constantly marketing your products and services in various creative ways. Will obviously lead to some serious income! So that’s why you have to always relentlessly be building your own in house list!

(And by systematically improving your effective communication in marketing skills, you will help yourself do just that.)

Just Don’t Initially Start Out Trying To Make It Off Your Affiliates And Keep Consistently Applying The Basics And You’ll Definitely Do Okay!

But in order you to really reach the (so called) big time. You’re really going to need upwards of  at least 10,000 registered affiliates, before you’ll be able to make it strictly off affiliate income!

Because within that huge number pool, you’ll surely develop a few, (very few) super affiliates! The real doers! (No matter what your particular niche market is!)

And two percent of 10,000 is 200 players. (10,000 registered affiliates x .02%=200 real players.)

So each opt in has some sort of overall value to you, but you wont earn a consistent living off  98% of them!

Without A Doubt Joint Venture Are A Proven Marketing Strategy!Just Don’t Attempt To Bank On Them With You’re Just Starting Out!

So as you read about this and other potential marketing ploys that involve either affiliates or JV partners, just keep those real world numbers in mine!

And your JV partners (typically) breaks down to about 60% of them consistently bringing home the bacon.

Again it ultimately depends on your offer and the type of relationship they have established with their list. And the type of profit share arrangement that you have or ultimately develop with them etc.
