Okay, so you probably don’t officially think of your (on or offline) business venture, as a start up per ser, correct? But truth told, you probably don’t currently have loads and loads investors cash constantly being thrown your way either, correct?Welcome to the club! 😉
Hey, isn’t entrepreneurship great? That said, (here’s) a rather pointed question for you. Even though, (like) most of the rest of us, you’re probably operating on the proverbial shoestring marketing/advertising budget right?
Entrepreneur, “how” would you like to know, how to quickly start to build rock star like credibility within your particular niche/industry, even though your money’s extremely tight and your top three major competitors, are far better financed, and locally connected than even you initially thought!
Does that sound the least bit appealing to you or what? Great!Let’s have a look and see “what” if anything, an extremely savvy entrepreneur, such as yourself, can do on a day to day basis, to help rapidly build instant, rock star like, bankable credibility!
So How Do Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Still Manage To Build Rock Star Like Credibility Even When They’re Operating On A Shoestring Budget?
(And Far More Importantly How Can You And I Do It Too?)
So here’s the thing, let’s say you’re currently running a fairly successful offline retail jewelry store. (Which means you and your modestly paid staff are constantly working your tales off!) Right?
And currently, even though you only have one modestly spaced location (store) and unfortunately, as fate would have it, because you haven’t quite built the business up as much as you’d like to just yet.(Hey, you’re definitely a work in progress!)
You can’t quite afford a built in a high daily foot traffic location, like inside one of the many extremely popular, (although) definitely high monthly rent locations, within one of the local malls!
But (hey), who’s to say things won’t dramatically change within the next twenty four months or less, to the point that you’ll definitely be able to finally establish a coveted mall location! Time will most certainly tell!
However, in the meantime, here’s the rather bleak, (but nonetheless), incredibly sobering reality, you find yourself faced with!At least three of your local major competitors, are constantly flooding the traditional advertising mediums, with what seems like, an almost endless barrage of constant, outrageously expensive, traditional advertising messages and commercials etc!Sound familiar?
So What Can Or Should You Do To Dramatically Increase Your Rock Star Like Credibility Currency? (Especially When Your Money Is A Little Tight!)
So you wanna instantly grab and hold the attention of the general market place, but you don’t or can’t currently afford to throw tons of money, (in this particular case) literally thousands and thousands of dollars per month, at traditional TV, radio and local Sunday newspaper ad inserts etc! Is that correct?
And even though you obviously can afford to mount and sustain a formidable ongoing media advertising/marketing campaign, does it really make sense, for you to try and go head to head, with the big boys & girls, when you know going in!
(A.) They’ve already got a much, much larger extended line of credit than you currently do! (B.) They are definitely a little more locally well connected to the right highly influential people, that can and definitely will, continue to help move their businesses forward!
(C.) And lastly, they’ve already got two or three highly established offline locations, in high daily traffic generating spots!
Plus, rumor has it, a few of them are now even getting pretty aggressive with their Internet presence as well!
And as near as you can tell, they routinely invest, anywhere from $45,000 to $60,000 dollars per month, on their outrageously expensive multi media blitz, but during the buying frenzy holiday season, they often ramp things up to a staggering $75,000 to $100,000 dollars per month!
So there is simply no way your current $25,000 to $35,000 per month ad/marketing budget can compete with that! Or can it? 😎 (Note: The actual numbers are used merely to illustrate the overall marketing concepts and principles! So they by no means are to be taken literally!)
Hey Rock Star Credibility Is Definitely Made! (But Sometimes It’s Bought To!)
Okay, enough with the doom & gloom stuff already, let’s finally get down to building this long term, rock star like, bankable credibility currency!
First and foremost! Go find yourself one of the top local women’s hair and or nail salon owners asap! And have some of your female managers and or assistant managers become a regular client yesterday! In fact, entrepreneur, do yourself another favor asap!
Please be sure and read the multi part series, about how and why positive word of mouth, is definitely the currency of choice, of today’s extremely savvy entrepreneurs! Because that series goes into even further details!
That said: the very first thing you do, after your employee(s) establish some cred with the owner(s.) Ask if the owner and any of their other seven hair dressers would like to purchase some really nice looking bling, at your actual cost? 😉
And I think we both know the overall answer to that one, correct? Anyway, (it’s vitally important) at this stage of your quest to build instant, rock star like credibility, that you totally understands what happens next!
You make sure the owner and or owners, (especially if they have multiple) locations! make sure they’re literally dripping in some of your very best, eye catching bling, that you’ll be more than glad to sell to them at your actual cost!
So they, (and more than likely) it will be a she!So be sure she’s got on, depending on where’s she’s going!She has one of your $1,500 to $2,500 dollar necklaces!
And some of your really nice, $300 to $400 dollar a pair earrings! And just for good measure, you’ll gladly throw in, a really nice bracelet or two!
Now then, make triple sure, those other seven lady hair/nail salon workers are walking billboards too! 😎
So you’ll gladly hook them all up with at least a $400 to $600 dollar necklace and some really cool and totally eye catching earrings, that easily retail for anywhere from $150 to $250 dollar a pair!(Entrepreneur, can you say positive word of mouth & mouse explosion!)
Real Entrepreneurs Build Long Term Rock Star Like Credibility The Same Way Master Carpenters Build Rock Solid Houses!
Because remember, they’ll be in constant physical contact with at least, ten to twelve other highly influential local women customers, at least 5 or 6 days per week!
And those ladies routinely socialize and rub shoulders with, work for and or own their own businesses as well, do they not? Or they’re married to (and or) living with others than own or manage businesses that constantly come in contact with other local women of extreme influence!
And you know, at least some of these other regular women customers, will definitely wanna know the entire 411 about that really nice looking bling, their hair dresser/nail salon professionals suddenly sporting, correct? 😉
Plus, don’t forget and or neglect the fact that, these lady hair and or nail salon professionals, all have extremely close friends and family members, do they not? Yep!
And let’s not also forget, at least some of them are most definitely extremely active on the the various social media sites, like twitter, FB, Instagram and good old Pintrest!
And you know the second that newly acquired eye catching bling, (that they got at your actual cost, thank you very much!) goes around their neck! And the second they put on those sparkling diamond studded earrings, (because it’s most definitely showtime!)their social media sites are going to lightt up big time, agreed?
And when they come strutting over for both Thanksgiving and Christmas or New Year’s dinner!Oh you can bet, they’ll be completely decked out, in whatever latest eye catching bling they have!Would you not agree?
So entrepreneur, before we officially close the curtain on part one. I just have one parting question for you. In the face of all of this potential marketing evidence. Would you rather it be you and your business strategically implementing this type of “battlefield tested” marketing strategy, in order to build rock star like credibility?

You speak of credibility. I was very intent in building my credibility in the very beginning, and I certainly didn’t have a formula for it, that’s for sure. The thing I did was tried to treat everyone the way I wanted to be treated. For me, I had a shoestring budget starting out, and it was difficult. Felt as if I was giving blood, sweat and tears, but credibility was always the most important thing. That’s why when my first coach scammed me, I was devastated not because of the money I lost, but because my followers thought I recommended a scoundrel.
Live and learn. Experience is a great task master.
