How Three Really Simple Marketing Mistakes Are Costing Your Small Business A Lot Of Money!

Okay, if you and I were to actually count them per day, (on average), about how many mistakes, do you think you personally make on any given day?

That’s all? Well big congrats!

Because it sounds like, you really are on top of things!In more ways than one.Personally, it’ best I not bore with with my personal stats, because there just isn’t enough time! 😀

That said (entrepreneur), with regards to you successfully running and effectively marketing/promoting your profit seeking small business, and or service, (far too often) and practically without exception.

There would appear or seem to be three really (all too common) marketing mistakes, that while in and of themselves, seem pretty trivial on the surface.

Once you actually put a pencil to them, you’ll find, (probably) much to your dismay,they are literally costing you a small and ever growing fortune!In more ways than one I might add.

Both in potential earnings and (potential) marketing opportunities lost!Let’s take a much closer look, so you can see (and hopefully) come to appreciate exactly “what” this mini (internal) examination is leading to…..

So What Are These Three Rather Trivial And All Too Common Marketing Mistakes That Are Potentially Costing You A Fortune?

First of all, right out of the gate, let’s be crystal clear here!  Ladies & gentlemen,without a doubt, there  literally a gazillion and one, all too common marketing mistakes, (both) on or offline, that you and I constantly make!

So this is just a mere snapshot of that entire list! But because they are so prevalent and common place, it only makes sense to highlight them! Plus, the corrective phase of fixing these particular mistakes, are  not overly complicated, time consuming and or expensive!

How’s that for potentially exploiting the triple play. Anyway, as you read about these three all too common, (readily fixable) marketing mistakes, see how you can and should apply, the overriding marketing concepts and or strategies as well.

Which is to constantly keep your marketing ears & eyes open, to potentially being able to  better serve your target audience, customers and or clients etc.

Your Small Business And Or Service Is Literally Loaded With More Real Life Valuable Lessons Than You probably Realize!

1.) All too common marketing mistake #one: Ladies & gentlemen, this very first, “major” and all too common marketing mistake, has to do directly with you and I, not formally recognizing all daily, weekly or monthly opportunities, you can use your customer/clients you come in contact with, to easily convert some type of customer/client and or patient interaction, into some extremely helpful content of some kind!

Case in point, recently one of my expert coaches, low cost, targeted traffic generation expert Janice Wald of mostlyblogging.com fame.

Since she and I are (both) joint venture (JV) partners, and cross promotional partners as well, she just featured me in an awesome post she did, explaining, “how” the strategic use of youtube, can and definitely will help make us, (not only) more effective, but more profitable bloggers!

And one of her followers, left a comment, stating she didn’t feel she was emotionally ready, to appear on camera, shooting videos,so that was her primary reason for not fully embracing the possibilities with youtube, just yet!

Entrepreneur, it’s obvious, this particular reader, may not fully realize, (and or) fully appreciate the fact, they can merely do Power Point presentations, where they don’t even appear on screen and they can just narrate the videos!

Savvy Entrepreneurs Are Always Open To Potential Opportunities!

And still get and receive some of the main benefits of strategically marketing using videos and the potential reach of using youtube and other video sharing sites!

So if my expert coach, (Janice Wald), wanted to, she can and definitely should point this (potential) overlooked marketing opportunity out to her reader,by creating some helpful (real world) content, addressing that very issue!

Because, there is more than a better chance, if one person bothered to leave that specific comment, then a ton more are likely to be thinking or feeling the same way!Even though they didn’t bother to leave a comment.

2.) All too common marketing mistake # two: This next one,is potentially huge, (and it comes from) a recent personal real life example. Just recently, (yours truly) ordered a (super discounted) marketing information product, (authored by) one of the top marketing gurus.

And the order was sent on time, (which is always a good thing), but what was glaringly obvious, was the all too  common marketing mistake made by the seller!

Savvy Small Business Owners And Service Providers Need To Be More Resourceful! (Not Necessarily More Resources!)

Here I am, a “hot” brand new, first time customer, and they didn’t bother to include any type of “extremely time sensitive, discounted “bounce back offer” inside my order!What?

Ladies & gentlemen, if it isn’t totally obvious,(because) I just bought something, I am 300% more likely to buy something else, especially when it’s relevant to what I just bought and it’s got a (market tested) discounted price attached to it!

And not only that, not only is a current customer/client and or patient,  far more likely to buy additional products or services, but we are also 250% more likely, to continuously refer others and spread positive word of mouth & mouse publicity for the vendor as well!

And we’re also twice as likely, to provide, (either) a written,audio and or (bank account filling) video testimonial as well!Plus constantly mention it all over social media too.

Savvy Entrepreneurs Leverage All Too Common Daily Activities For Even More Reach And Long Term Profits!

So all of the above is at stake, not just the immediate, potential lost revenue of the moment, whenever you or I fail to leverage current customers, when they’re in the heat of their buying mode!

Multiply that missed opportunity, times the number of orders they fill per day, week, month or year!And that vendor would probably be shocked, by the potential fortune, constantly slipping through their fingers!In interest of space, you’ll discover the remaining (all too common) marketing mistake in part two.
