How the ultimate insiders use strategic selling.

    (And So Can You!)

Even though technically you could refer to this post as part two of the strategic selling series. It will stand on it’s own merits. However, that’s not to suggest that the overall theme, isn’t borrowed from an earlier post about strategic selling.

Here, you will zoom in and have a bird’s eye view of this incredibly powerful marketing strategy. And hopefully you clear up a few misleading concepts as well.

 Why Strategic Selling?

As you will come to appreciate here (shortly), basically the main bankable difference between just plain old selling and strategic selling, is quite pronounce. For ex: have you ever heard about the type of random marketing strategy where a very savvy entrepreneur says that each time they go to their local Barnes & Nobles, they also leave some of their market tested business cards inside of various books that relate to their particular niche.

Which is to say, if their in some type of money making business, they’ll often place a few business cards inside of some popular books. And obviously, this type of random shotgun marketing approach, beats doing nothing.

But it’s a far cry from the type of really effective strategic selling you should by doing. For ex: one of my favorite marketing mentors, released an extremely low priced front end information product, for just $7 dollars.

And believe it or not, one off his bonuses, was you got to ask five separate questions, that he agreed to answer by email. here’s the really cool strategic selling aspect of this example.

When he returned his answers by email, he opened his emails with a video response that actually addressed you by your first  name! Do you have any idea how powerful that type of personalized response was?

Use Strategic Selling Whenever Possible…

Here’s the overall point; whenever you can, always address your target audience by being as direct as possible. Here’s another example of how to properly use strategic selling strategies, in order to be more successful.

Suppose one of your best lead capture pages asks for three different bits of information, that being, your first name, a valid email address and a valid phone number. Since you already realize that simply by asking for your prospects phone number, this typically decreases your overall response rates.

That being the case, if you have any type of intro video on your lead capture page, use strategic selling, to help you directly address encouraging your visitors to include a valid phone number.

Mention near the end of your video, that every person that adds a valid phone number, they’ll receive a free 15 minute personalized consultation valued at x. Or something else of value in their eyes, like one of your best market tested free X number of pages PDF (Portable Document File) special report, valued at x.

Effective Strategic Selling Can And Will Give You The Profitable Edge!

Simply by effectively addressing directly on your intro video, the fact that your offering one of your best market tested free ethical bribes, in exchange for their phone number, you’ll experience an increase in first time visitors response rates.

And that’s basically the main differences between random selling (I.E.) randomly inserting your business card inside of various niche subject books, each time you happen to visit your local Barnes &  Nobles vs Strategic Selling, where you not only formalize your marketing tactics, but you also strategically address (what) at first glance appears to be a disadvantage, like asking for a valid phone number on a lead capture page.

Effective strategic selling can and will help put you over the top! Try it and see for yourself.
