Mind you, back when both he and some of his colleagues initially began aggressively doing this there was no Internet access! 😀
And therefore, no gazillion web sites which now sort of specialize in these various rarely tapped marketing or promotional opportunities.

The multi six figure business, (side project venture),this particular guru and some of his peers initially started.
Involved them contacting several of the major hotels and successfully negotiating rock bottom room rates throughout the year.
And then immediately turning around and aggressively re-selling them to their hundreds of thousands of newsletter subscribers.
And just earning anywhere from $2-$5 dollars per room renting.
But hey stop and think about it. If you can re-rent 1,800 rooms or more, and earn just $3 dollars per room. You or someone just earned an extra $5,400 dollars for the month. This would certainly make for a pretty nice Xmas, right? 😀
Don’t Ever Discount The Long Term Profit Generating Potential Of Some Of Your Very Best Entrepreneurial Ideas And Or Concepts!
And take the case of the legendary marketing guru who routinely negotiated rock bottom bargain prices on unsold retail advertising space, in some of the big name income producing magazines.
He initially built a huge potential buyers list, (pre Internet mind you!) By initially negotiating to receive credits of free advertising space in lieu of money, for the marketing consulting he did for some of the magazines.
Then he and his expert marketing team immediately began some strategic A/B split testing of various main power headline offers for his free drawing offers!
He used his credit and ran half a page advertisements offering free drawings, for a chance to win six months worth of free advertising in the magazines! say what? 😀

And of course his businesses P.O. box was flooded with responses. He and his professionally trained marketing team then aggressively followed up with all the responses and sold them, (a combination) of slightly inflated advertising slots in various income opportunity magazines.
Or he sold them six or twelve month introductory, personalized marketing consulting packages!
And generated a nice seven figure income! 😀 Nice right? No doubt. Primarily because he and the various gurus and guruettes.

And sometimes they not only parlayed these (so called) side projections into high six or seven figure income streams.

For either one tidy lump sum of cash. Or they sold them and created monthly, quarterly and or X amount initially down, and X number of yearly installments.
Pretty amazing stuff, right? This is what they constantly do. And it’s really a good thing. Because by them doing so, it helped show us the way! Don’t you agree? 😀
