How The Compound Effect Of You Not Marketing Or Promoting Your Business Effectively!

    (Is Definitely Hurting Your Chances For Long Term Success!)

Profit seeking entrepreneur please don’t be fooled by this seemingly incredibly simple question. What’s the real point of you utilizing any type of paid advertising or promotions? Say what? Of course you’re attempting to bring attention to your awesome products and services, right?

And earn more than you spent on the advertisements correct? This being the case. You may not realize or fully appreciate how the compound effect of you or your major competitors not marketing, promoting or even advertising your products or services to the maximum capabilities are actually hurting your chances for long term success.

You probably find that last statement rather hard to believe, right? Hopefully you won’t after you finish reading the rest of this particular blog post…

Entrepreneur Strategically Building Engagement Is A Surefire Key To Long Term Marketing Success!

Have or when was the last time you were approached by a panhandler? Or you’re simply walking down the street lost in your own thoughts or busy talking on the phone. When suddenly a complete stranger tries to hand you a pamphlet or flyer you didn’t ask for. You know the feeling of having your personal space invaded, correct?

On the other hand picture crowded local convention of some kind. Where they are at least 1,000 attendees. And at least 400 of them or more are local ladies of some type of influence. And at least 275 of them are rocking a pair of you extremely eye catching diamond studded earrings.

Which usually retail for at least $650 dollars a pair. But they paid your actual hard cost for a pair which usually retails for $450 dollars. So they only paid $225 dollars.

Now these 275 or X number of local women are strolling around this annual convention constantly shaking hands. And meeting and frequently making brand new connections.

And forming breakout groups and going to lunch together etc. So while they’re power networking and making new friends and re-connecting with previous connections etc. Entrepreneur you know at some point the conversation will turn to where did they get their awesome looking bling, correct?

If You’re Gonna Advertise Or Professionally Market Your Products And Services! (You Had Better Understand How To Get A Rise Out Of Your Target Market!)

Ladies and gentlemen it doesn’t matter if your ideal prospect is listening to either your podcast, guest podcast of if they’re reading your (hopefully!) direct response type of business card or flyer etc.

It doesn’t matter if they’re reading your Facebook or Linkedin or Instagram post etc. And no they don’t care if they’re listening to your MP3 recording, watching your live or recorded webinar or reading your blog post or reading tour guest blog pot.

Or talking with one of your live reps at a convention or trade show etc. All they ultimately care about is “how” your awesome products or services helps them solve their major problems, issues or challenges etc.

So when 275 or X number of local women are strutting around showcasing  some of you or your major competitors best looking bling.

Other ladies at that conference definitely wanna know “how” they can get hooked up too, correct? And rest assured of the remaining 600 or X number local men attending this same conference or convention.

Let’s say at least half or 300 of them. Either they want to get hooked up or they want to know “how” they can hook up either their spouse or their live in significant other. Or their daughters or in laws who are least 18.

Entrepreneur Can You Even Begin To Appreciate The Previously Untapped Long Term Marketing Possibilities?

Case in point. Let’s say of the 300 or X number of local men in attendance. One hundred of them are CEOs, CFO’s Presidents and Vice Presidents of this or that. They’re CFP’s, CPA’s, Mortgage Brokers, Publishers, General Managers, Senior marketing directors, local business owners, service providers and chamber of commerce members etc.

So you or your major competitors offer them men’s Rolex watches which typically retail for at least $6,500 dollars. But these prominent 300 or X number of local semi to highly influential men get them for your actual hard cost of half of $3,500 dollars give or take.

In this case your advertisement or marketing/promotional message is pretty straight forward, is it not? You’re basically leveraging these local men and women’s professional and personal inner circles.

In order to “discover” who else wants to get hooked up asap? so between these 275 local ladies and the 300 local men. These 575 individuals all know at least 25 other locals apiece do they not? (275 + 300 = 575 total.)

Which means potentially another 14,375 others get exposed to your brand, right? (575 x 25 = 14,375.) And since typically at least 30% of those umbers are potential first time customers.

Who will usually make their first or next purchase within 60 days of being exposed to you or your major competitors brand.  You’re potentially talking about 4,312 individuals. (14,375 x .30% = 4,312.)

From The Few Who Are Influential You Or Your Major Competitors Can Strategically Expand Your Overall Brand Visibility!

Let’s say the average spend is just $400 dollars each. Entrepreneur you or your major competitors just grossed (on the initial front end only!) an impressive $1,724,800 dollars. Say what? (4,312 individuals spend $400 dollars each, equals 41,724,800 dollars on the initial front end.)

On the other hand, very little of this type of long term profitability can or will take place. If your traditional ads, marketing or promotional efforts generate engagement. And this is how and why the compound effect of your total marketing or promotional efforts may actually be hurting or limiting your overall chances for long term success.

Does that power headline make more sense now? I sincerely hope so.
