On the surface, it may sound and even seem a little counter intuitive, that is until you have a much closer look!
And you totally understand, some proven marketing concepts and strategies.
But let’s (quickly) deal with and (hopefully) lay to rest asap, your totally misguided thoughts.
Which suggest, no reputable and ultimately successful business owner and or service provider, (can or could) literally afford, (especially) in the very beginning, of their severely cash strapped existence.
To give away their very best products and or services, strictly for marketing and or promotional purposes! Right?
Well, I guess Google doesn’t count then, is that correct? Say what?
Because, (dear) memory lapsed, and probably, severely cash strapped entrepreneur. If you will take the time to revisit their meteoric rise to the top of the major search engine provider mountain battle, that is exactly what they did!
Of course, no one is suggesting, you and I try and go 100% that route!
But without a doubt, the free, and or extremely low cost, or break even on the initial front end method.
And reap a ton of long term financial, and other extremely valuable benefits, on the outrageously profitable back end business model method.
Has and will continue to be a surefire winner!Let the following (extremely) watered down marketing examples serve as bankable proof!
So How Can Profit Seeking Entrepreneurs Strategically Use The Free Stuff Route To Make A Whole Lot Of Money?
There’s a song, or songs about there being a season for all things, correct? And certainly, when it comes to some extremely savvy entrepreneurs, strategically using free this or that.
In order to geometrically grow their businesses, (and or services) like a rabbit farm on a hormone diet!
My friend, very few market tested strategies, techniques and or tips etc; do so the way, effective free list building and or goodwill building approaches do!
Case in point: Let’s suppose your business is a major, (national) distributor, of extremely tasty, exotic, hard to find coffees,lemonades and or teas etc.
And you’re always on the look out for some proven ways, to reach your ideal target market of consumers, without constantly relying on outrageously expensive, national ad campaigns.
Via the traditional mediums, like national TV, radio, billboards and or major magazine, and or other national specialty publications etc.
Always Be On The Lookout For Some Non Conventional Marketing Opportunities!
So as fate would have it, while one of your top outside sales reps, was driving in her assigned territory, looking for potential new vendors to call on.
She happened to stay overnight at a rather quaint, and charming, upscale bed & breakfast hotel.
And in the morning, they served her a complimentary (free) cup of coffee with her breakfast!
And immediately, her “opportunity” light bulbs started flashing! She approached the owners, (an astute) second generation husband & wife team.
And asked if they’d like to further endear themselves to their extremely valuable and loyal customer and employee base. And possibly get a definite leg up on all of their local, major competitors! Say what?
(Especially if 95% of the initial upfront cost was taken care of for them!)And of course, their immediate answer was a resounding yes!
Potential Lead Generation Opportunities Are Everywhere!
After she makes several frantic phone calls to corporate and finally gets the okay to proceed.
Both she and the owners of the bed & breakfast, do an intense three way phone call with the two principal decision makers, at corporate headquarters, that easily lasts 45 minutes! 😀
And once the intense call was complete, here’s what the outside sales rep was instructed to do.
First.) She immediately offered the owners their personal choice of any sample of exotic tea,lemonade or coffee, and whichever they decided they liked the most, they would automatically have a 10 lb. bag delivered to their residence, free of charge!
The More You Serve Others The More You Prosper As Well!
Second.) And whenever they were ready to order a free 10 lb. bag refill of exotic coffee,lemonade or tea, they could simply call the companies toll free number.
Plus, they would automatically receive two free 10 lb. bags of either coffee,lemonade or tea, to serve their guests free complimentary large cups of the beverage of their choice.
With their breakfast or lunch, simply as their way of saying, “thank you” for being our quests!
(And you know, offering a free, great tasting large beverage of some kind, will definitely cause, some of these quests, to spread the word both on and off of social media, correct? 😀 )
Are You Finally Starting To Appreciate Why Understanding Basic Lead Generation Strategies And Or Tactics Is Simply A Must!
And every time a customer or a staff member wanted to know where, or how they can order their very own bag of, this great tasting coffee,lemonade or tea etc.
The owners will provide the national distributors market tested business card, which has their first time customer only toll free 800 number on it. 😀
Which by the way, has operators standing by, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including all major holidays!
