   (And How You Definitely Can Too!)

So do you currently have any type of ebooks, and or PDF file special reports, working for you?

Because you know, you can (either) use them to help build your opt in email list, or to sell them, to generate some type of ongoing, passive income, correct?

Just to be crystal clear, (we’re not) talking about you directly, and or indirectly profiting from an ebook, you had professionally ghost written!

Although, (truth told), that is certainly, an extremely viable, potential marketing alternative, either now, or perhaps somewhere down the road.Because it’s a great form of marketing leverage.

(And there are several ways for you to accomplish this, that will probably surprise and delight you.)

For now though, we’re referring to you or I, consistently generating some form of front, (and or) passive back end income, from an ebook, (and or special report) that you didn’t personally write, and it you didn’t pay or barter with another professional, to ghost write for you!

And no, you’re not an affiliate for the vendor/entrepreneur that wrote it either!But that’s always an extremely viable potential marketing option as well!

Okay, so are you officially paying attention now?  Good! Otherwise, you might miss out on some potential opportunities!

After you read Donna’s extremely well written post, you’ll definitely be armed, with more than enough creative marketing amo to move forward.And you’ll also be more creatively prepared, to apply my far more simpler suggestion(s) as well!

Ebooks And Effective Lead Generation Go Hand In Hand!

So when it comes to generating some serious, long term marketing leverage, using ebooks, for literally pennies on the dollar, there are tons of proven marketing strategies you can and should apply.

Case in point; recently, one of my expert traffic generating and social media marketing coaches, that (of course) would be Janice Wald of mostlyblogging.com fame.

And (as fate) would have it, my coach (Janice Wald), is currently in the process of releasing her brand new ebook, on “how to” build your targeted traffic and authority, using the various social media platforms.

And guess who she asked to write the foreword to her ebook?  That’s right.And she said, to show her appreciation for me doing so, I can add my WordPress blogs lead capture page address.

Entrepreneur, (hopefully) you can see where this is all going, right? But get this, since Janice is also going to be releasing the first chapter of the ebook, as a free list building strategy, my foreword along with my blogs lead capture page address, will be exposed even more!

    Extremely timely that you should have written about eBooks because I have only recently finished writing one.

    Next stage of course is to start making use of it, so I look forward to applying some of these techniques, because the danger is that after the hard work of producing the ebook I forget about the marketing!

  3. Great advice Mark! I read about Donna’s strategy and she has incorporated her many years of experience with a hefty dose of marketing savvy – highly recommended! And, I couldn’t agree more with your point about saying “Yes” to these opportunities. Earlier this year I shared my two cents on a particular topic related to my writing and just yesterday received a draft of the finished product with my name shown right up front as an “expert” consultant on the project. Not only will I have an opportunity to promote and profit from the finished product, but it’ll be a nice addition to my creds. 🙂

    This is another extremely valuable bog post you’ve written!

    Marketing your business with eBooks is absolutely one of the best ways to position yourself prominently in the marketplace.

    I don’t think it’s necessary, either, to use it to build your list OR to sell it. You can simply give it away via specific channels, like your Facebook Page or to a specific bunch of folks on a LinkedIn group. In other words, give them the direct pdf link instead of having them subscribe to your list.

    When you do that, you lose some subscribers for sure, BUT many many more people will get a hold of your eBook which, after all, is all about branding YOU and YOUR business.

    As a sheer giveaway, it can be shared around social media sites and could even go viral if it’s a hot topic.

    Use you imagination… as you always tell us to do!
