How Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Make Money In The Information Business Without A Product!Part Two

So (entrepreneur), did you happen to notice, in part one of this ongoing series, “how” some extremely savvy entrepreneurs, found several rather unconventional ways, to consistently make (very good) money from being in the information business.

Even though initially, they themselves, didn’t have any physical information products of their own to sell (just) yet!

Did you happen to take notice of that? In fact, they merely leveraged various on and offline marketing opportunities they became involved in, and used them to their advantage.Did they not?

And somewhere in the process, they were able to create a marketable information product or two while doing so!

Part two is going dive just a little bit deeper and demonstrate, a few more (semi) creative ways, some of these extremely savvy entrepreneurs leverage their opportunities into, some bankable information products and services! Does that sound like something you would be interested in learning more about?

So What Other Creative Ways Have Some Incredibly Savvy Entrepreneurs Consistently Used In Order To Cash In Big Time In The Information Business?

(Even Though They Initially Didn’t Have Any Physical Information Products Of Their Own To Sell?)

First of all, let’s be crystal clear here. We are not suggesting, that some of these extremely savvy entrepreneurs, couldn’t have started out without their very own information products or services, by being an affiliate and actively promoting another marketers products & services, for some form of commission/compensation etc.

Because clearly, (that was) and is, an extremely viable marketing alternative for them to per sue.

However, what we’re referring to here, is the fact they chose to profit (handsomely) I might add, from being in the information business, (when they were) initially starting out, even they didn’t initially have any type of physical information products of their very own yet!

Yet they still managed to leverage various marketing opportunities they became involved in, and create some bankable information products and or services in the process!

Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs With The Right Marketing Mindset Can Accomplish Quite A Bit! (Don’t You Agree?)

Case in point: Please take a moment to read a recent comment, from one of my Coaches, from part one of these series.

And hopefully, you will discover “why”, you definitely have to start “thinking just a little further outside” the proverbial box!

The truly dynamic, and (one and only), Donna Merrill, of DonnaMerriltribe.com. One of my Coaches & Mentors. Both she and her husband David BTW! 😎

She recently commented on part one of this series and I thought it was a perfect example, of what’s truly possible, when you and I have the right entrepreneurial mindset. Have a look and tell me what you think!

“Hi Mark,

I certainly love how you show that you don’t need a product to sell information. The example you used shows a savvy entrepreneur showcasing her expertise, and then selling coaching sessions to folks who want more of the information she has to share.

This is a great method, and one that I teach my blogging clients to do. Brand your authority with your blog, then offer a coaching program. I actually go into quite a bit of detail on how to set up a coaching program in my membership club, and I’ll be developing that into a paid course real soon. So, there you see that doing a “training” as a coach, I’m actually creating a product at the same time. So the two things don’t even have to be mutually exclusive.

Start coaching before you even have a product, then create products from your coaching sessions.

Savvy stuff here, Mark.

I love it.

Enjoy the Holidays.

-Donna”

There Are Literally More Money Making Entrepreneurial Ideas Than You And I Can Ever Possibly Take Full Advantage Of!

Back to the subject at hand! As promised in part one, (another) extremely creative, non conventional way, some extremely savvy entrepreneurs were able to cash in, (big time) from being in the information business, (without) initially having any physical information products of their own, and without being a successful affiliate marketer.

Remember, as their (both) local and national offline speaking opportunities, not only begin to increase, and become more and more lucrative on the initial front end, this literally opens the door to some potentially profitable, long term marketing possibilities.

Successful Entrepreneurs See the Long Term Opportunities Behind The Other Long Term Opportunities!

Case in point; one of the main marketing tactics, they consistently profit from. They poll their audiences and ask them to name their number one biggest challenge, that way they know which subjects to create future content, and information products and services about!

And the other strategy they routinely use is, they “raffle” off one of their $,5000 dollar a year, (highly intense), one on one coaching programs.

(Important note:Remember to focus on the overall marketing concepts here entrepreneur, not the specific numbers!)

And it only cost each entry a one time fee of $1,000 dollars, (or 20%) in order to enter the raffle.

The Road To Successful Entrepreneurship Is Paved With Marketing Possibilities! (Don’t You Agree?)

However, if they’re not currently one of the speakers active opt in email/text message subscribers, then their one time “raffle” entry fee is $2,500 dollars, or half of the annual cost!

Hey, they’re still saving 50%, but why not take advantage of the additional savings, by joining the speakers list, correct?

And here’s where they potentially cash in again! They mentor/coach other up and coming speakers and sell them a coaching package, where them teach them several of their more advanced marketing strategies, for successfully monetizing their speaking engagements, even though they haven’t actually created their very own information products or services yet!

Are You Starting To Notice How Some rally Successful Entrepreneurs Create Opportunity!

So hopefully you can see and, you’re really starting to better appreciate, in this two part series, “how” some extremely savvy entrepreneurs, can and do, consistently cash in big time, in the information business, even though they may not initially, have any information products or services of their own! 1. Hey Mark,

One thing I learned is you want to show how relative and competent you are from the get go. Donna was right to teach selling your brand first before selling any tangible products.

You have to think that without a good, consistent brand then who’s going to buy from you? From my experience nor too many.

You want to show your audience your worth before they can gain any kind of trust to do any commerce with you. If you can establish that then you’re good as gold!

Thanks for sharing Mark! Have a great week!

  2. Hi Mark,

    Great advice, thank you.

I had been wondering about the steps I would take to go down that path — to deliver more coaching and training as part of my business.

And I agree, you can definitely do this by offering someone else’s product (or training program) to kickstart your cult following. When you have a solid group of ‘raving fans’ behind you, you can use them for testimonials etc. And they’ll follow you wherever you go. It’s all about delivering something so good they’ll stick around and also spread the words for you.

    Thanks, again, for the insights.

And thank you for your extremely kind words! I truly
      appreciate it.

And I definitely agree, that if you can consistently
over deliver in some way, your audience will not only
stand by you, but become your goodwill ambassadors
      24/7.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by
and share your real world thoughts!Greatly appreciated!

BTW, I have no idea, if you currently do any type of
weekly or monthly offline, free lead generation type
of classes and or workshops etc.

But I have no doubt, you’d extremely successful at it,
because you are an excellent teacher!

  4. Hi Mark,

This is more great advice on how to start selling your information before you even have a product.

You’re right, too, that you can absolutely begin this process even as an affiliate marketer. Use other people’s products to build your own following, first. Then show those people your expertise.

Once they’ve learned to trust you and your authority and expertise, they’ll be happy to hire you for coaching because they want the information and training you can give them. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a formal information product as long as you have (a) valuable information to share and (b) people to share it with.

More great “out of the box” leadership for everyone, Mark.

Thanks for the mention for me and David. I appreciate it.
