How Creative Asset Management Can Literally Be Money In Your Pocket!Part Two

As you previously discovered in part one of this ongoing series, about how some extremely savvy business owners and or corporations, consistently use creative asset management , ( in ever varying degrees I might add) to make some some really big money!Would you not agree?

In part two, let’s take an even more expansive look, to see if there are any potential stones, that might have been left un turned.

After all, it’s when you start seeing your  many untapped potential marketing possibilities from at least two or three different previously un explored angles, suddenly the potential marketing possibilities can become very interesting!

And downright profitable too! In fact, it’s very often during this ongoing possibility discovery period, that your highly developed marketing eyes, (vision) get’s exposed to some extremely practical hidden profit centers, that are definitely worth pursuing further.

Because, if they’re implemented correctly, that additional cash flow just might lead to a future windfall profit of some kind. Take a look at these next two hypothetical marketing extensions of the overall concept, to really get a feel of what’s possible.

So How Do Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Position Themselves So That They Can Consistently Benefit From Some Form Of Creative Asset Management?

As you recall from part one, an extremely savvy hotel chain, (that) as fate would have it, just happened to have one inconveniently located somewhere in sunny Key west Florida! 😎

About two miles from a world class golf course. So this extremely savvy hotel corporation decided to approach super star golfer “Tiger Woods”and offer him a cool $500,000 dollars per year, to take one day and six hours out of the year.

And along with two of his personally hand picked special mystery guest instructors, and enjoy their first class hotel accommodations, and personally Coach ten extremely lucky grand prize winners, on the basics of golf for eight hours!

And between Tiger and the other two mystery PGA (Professional Golfers Association) instructors, they currently have a grand total of at least seven million extremely active followers on twitter alone! And as of this particular writing, a cool 4.81 million of them are personally following Tiger!

So when Tiger and his two mystery instructors, directed their seven million plus twitter followers to enter the hotel’s “free drawing“, for a chance to be one of the ten extremely lucky winners, that get to be personally Coached for eight hours by Tiger and his two mystery guest instructors!

The hotel’s mobile friendly WordPress blog got inundated instantly with two million opt ins! How about some brand named golf clubs! 😎 So let’s say, instead of this promotion being sponsored by a major hotel chain.Instead it’s a major corporation that makes high end golf clubs.

And they do a similar annual promotion involving Tiger and his two hand picked mystery guest instructors. And they offer Tiger the same $500,000 upfront.

Only instead of sponsoring a one day fourteen hour event, that also includes first class round trip air fare, and first class hotel accommodations and free round the clock room service for all ten lucky grand prize winners!

The major golf club manufacturer, will select a grand total 10 winners, to spend one week, in groups of two at a time, to be personally Coached by Tiger and company.

So two people per day, will play an 18 hole round of golf and be personally Coached by Tiger and two hand picked PGA mystery guest instructors.

And it will only cost them $5,000 dollars each, for the privilege of doing so!Now since the exact same two million people opted in for their chance to spend $5,000 dollars each, in order to hangout for five business days and be personally coached and mentored by Tiger and company!

(And more times than not, they’ll be pictured using some of those high end golf clubs!)

And of course they’ll also periodically follow up with their two million opt in’s, (either) by email and or text message and offer them super-time sensitive- VIP discounts of 40%-60% off the cost of a set of their higher end golf clubs!

Plus, they’l always include their extremely popular, free 90 minute “how to”  instructional DVD, that showcases both Tiger and some of his hand picked guest instructors, best tips and little know golfing strategies and closely guarded secrets!

With that highly responsive two million opt in list, and the major star power of superstar golfer’s Tiger Woods and his hand picked PGA mystery instructors. Entrepreneur, do you really think they’ll have much trouble selling even more of their high end golf clubs and other much needed golfing accessories?

Probably not!After all, if  need be, they could literally sell 50,000 sets of their best selling golf clubs at their actual cost, in order to rapidly grow their national brand recognition!

And just include one of their best marketed tested, time sensitive “bounce back” offers for one of their other best selling accessories!Oh for sure we could go on and on! But hopefully you get the main point!

Which is, how some extremely savvy entrepreneurs/marketers, can routinely make some really big money, whenever they start to implement, some creative asset management strategies and or tactics!Don’t you agree?

  1. I saw this strategy in practice in the first resort hotel I worked in. It was a brand new resort pitted against a well established resort on the other end of the island. In fact our resort was so new 3 of the 4 planned hotels were still under construction and the golf course greens hadn’t fully grown in yet. BUT they had a world class tennis club and so they followed a very similar process to the one you described and it was a huge success. The only difference was the owner had contacts in Hollywood so they made it a celebrity tournament and held the parties on the hill overlooking the resort. Pretty cool 🙂 Just not sure how to translate that into something that a small business could manage, but I think the size is less of an issue than finding the right fit with the athlete or celebrity. Definitely food for thought!
