(For You Or Your Major Competitors!)
Of course you readily agree, things (on the surface anyway), aren’t always as straight forward, and cut and dry as they seem, correct? Absolutely. And as it relates to business and entrepreneurship.
Being direct, in terms of your marketing or promotional efforts. Often can be or become extremely profitable. Would you not agree? Case in point. Think about all the billion and billion of dollars, millennial-s annually spend on? You name it.
And even though, certain types of direct marketing, is no longer as prevalent as it used to be. Pre- Internet. Guess what? Millennial-s, have absolutely no problem, ordering online and having their orders sent to them, vial direct mail.
Which means, the fancy golf shoes, balls, gloves, caps or tickets to some of the top golfing tournaments in the US. You add it all up and you’ll quickly conclude, why the entire golfing industry, is literally moving mountains to try and entice even more of their dollars. Wouldn’t you?
However, just because these major corporate types, are all in, with regards to pro-actively pursuing millennial-s. This doesn’t automatically mean, they’re using proven marketing or promotional strategies. But that doesn’t mean, they can’t change their long term, profit repelling ways, correct?
A Multi Billion Dollar Annual Pie Has Lots Of Slices To Go Around!
Case in point. Every year, practically every day. Somewhere in America anyway, a millennial, who earns high five, six or seven figures a year. They go online and order some type of golf related accessories.
And this comes as no surprise, correct? But here’s where things might potentially get extremely interesting and profitable. If you’re one of these retailers, whose looking to inexpensively increase, both their long term front and back end gross profits.
You name it and a certain percentage of today’s male or female millennial-s, are purchasing it.To the tune of billions annually. And the really good news is. The long term trend indicators, point north.
This being the case. Let’s say you sell high end men-s clothing, shoes and other “must have” men-s accessories.
And you want to pro-actively go after the top earning millennial-s, from virtually all walks of life. But for now, you’re gonna laser focus your marketing and promotional efforts, on the multi billion dollar a year tech industry.
Because tons of extremely well off millennial-s, will literally continue to pour out of this particular industry. For decades to come, correct? Absolutely.
Don’t Just Talk At Your Ideal Prospects! (Get Them To Have A Mutually Gratifying Conversation With You!
Speaking of extremely high profile tech gurus. At least some of you recognize the name Larry Kim, correct? Yea, that would be the same Larry Kim, who recently sold one of his software based companies, for a cool $150 million dollars. Give or take.
That’s him in the screen shot image below.

Anyway. Getting back to the Larry Kim angle. The guy is constantly being sought after to:
A.) Appear on major business related TV shows. Like CNBC or Fox Business News etc.
B.) Being a keynote speaker, for major industry tech events.
C.) Appear on major, business, tech related or entrepreneurial based podcast after podcasts.
D.) Be interviewed or appear in extremely high profile, guest “Round Up” post. like the one I also recently appeared in with him and the others previously mentioned.
This Is Where And How You Can Put Your Massive Assets Or Resources To Work For You!
This next part of the overall marketing concepts, are strictly hypothetical. And for marketing demonstration purposes only. Okay? Because I simply have no way of knowing “what” the actual size, of Larry’s opt in email database is.
But just for the sake of example. Let’s say all combined. Larry has a grand total of 250,00 opt in email/mobile marketing subscribers. And typically, whenever he or someone in his company sends an email message.
At least 30% of his active subscribers open it. Which means on average about 75,000 subscribers or more. Will at least open his email messages.
And let’s say on average another 30% will click at least one of the links in his email or mobile alert message.
Which means, about 22,500 subscribers clicked his link. And let’s further state, of these 22,500 subscribers. 30% of them, actually perform the task, Larry’s CTA (Call To Action) wants them to perform. (22,500 x .30% = 6,750.)
Which in this particular case. Let’s say an extremely popular, men-s clothing store, carefully approaches Larry, at one of the major tech conferences, he’s scheduled to be one of, or the main keynote speaker at.
The Opportunity To Scale On A Much Larger Level Is Often Just a Few Key Strategic Alliances Away!
So you or one of your major competitors, make the following offer to both Larry and some of his key, main executives. They will offer Larry, access to five, fully customized, men-s suits.
Along with three designer shirts and three pair of designer soft leather shoes, and three ties and three pairs of designer men cuff links. And the cuff links alone, normally retail for at least $250 dollars a pair. Say what? Exactly.
And the customized men-s suits, normally start at $2,500 – $3,000 dollars each.
And in exchange for their marketing generosity. Here’s all the expect in return. At least twice in the next 90 or X number of days or less. Larry will alert his subscribers, to a private free drawing. Which is only available, to his current and future subscribers. Say what? That’s correct.
