Have you ever noticed, that whenever you’re consciously trying to be creative, more times than not, that’s when you seem to hit the creativity brick wall.(Oh so hard!)
On the other hand, when you let your natural marketing creativity flow, as a direct result of simply exploring potential situations/solutions, by systematically approaching them from different angles.
Or as a direct result of (constantly) exposing your extremely fertile mind to some extremely gifted, (not to mention) extremely successful individuals!
(Like direct response, master marketing ace Kim Willis and others!)
Typically, within a relatively short period of time, the creative marketing ideas just naturally start flowing!Funny how that works, right?
Personally, not being one to want to constantly try and re-invent the marketing wheel!(Because that’s an awful lot of mental and emotional work.)
Instead, (my personal) favorite, is to consistently draw the vast majority of my (so called) creative marketing inspiration, simply by studying, and (then creatively spinning 😎 ) the proven marketing methods, strategies and or tactics, of my many on and offline Coaches and Mentors etc!
It’s just so much easier and far less stressful (for me anyway!) to leverage “what” they’ve already proven is extremely viable!
Than to constantly try and go off on a tangent and be totally original from scratch! This post will share “how” and why a little marketing creativity, mixed in with a little heart felt charity every now and again), can most definitely lead to massive viral exposure!
So How Can An Extremely Savvy Entrepreneur Effectively Use A Little Marketing Creativity Mixed In With Some Occasional Heart Felt Charity To Create Massive Viral Exposure?
First of all, in order to satisfy the (so called) creativity component of this post. Ladies & gentlemen, for just a second, think about “how” many pieces of brand new luggage is sold each and every day, seven days a week.
Then let your mind ponder “how” much of that luggage is considered high end. And “how” much of it gets sold during the annual holiday rush alone!
This is each and every year mind you!Do you have some basic figures in mind?
Good! Now then, for just a second, let’s segment all this buying activity and only focus on the purchases made by women. Both on and offline BTW.
Would it hurt future back end sales (you think), if a few extremely savvy marketers started leaving one their best market tested insert offers inside of the luggage?Huh?Exactly!
Can’t Good Old Fashion Marketing Logic And Marketing Creativity Share The Same Train Of Thought Every Once And A While?
For ex: What about a really cool joint venture of some kind (and or) a strategic alliance if you prefer, where a reputable travel company/agency includes some type of (extremely time sensitive), VIP discount coupon insert, inside the actual luggage.
And the coupon directs the ladies to head over to the travel companies (mobile responsive) WordPress blog, and enter their free monthly (and or quarterly) drawing for a chance to win a $7,500 dollar, all expenses paid luxury 10-14 day cruise to some extremely popular exotic location!
And this offer also happens to include a $1,500 dollar credit, for some free air fare to any destination, (they choose) in the world as well! To be used in any combination you wish!Say what?
And for all the luggage that gets sold to women right in an actual store, the cashier will simply hand the women a small box, that will contain one nice women’s diamond studded earring, valued at $150 dollars (or X!)
And inside the actual luggage, will be a two sided index card from some popular local jeweler, directing the women to bring in the card and any female friend over 18 with them and they’ll automatically be given the other matching diamond studded earring for free!
Which makes it a $300 dollar value!Or if they prefer, they can come alone and pay the jewelers actual cost of $75 dollars for the remaining earring!(Wanna take a wild guess, which option at least 95% of them, that decide to act on this offer will actually take! 😎 )
So they’re still receiving a $300 dollar value for just $75 dollars! That helps slightly offset some of the jewelers up front out of pocket marketing cost!
And it’s definitely worth it to the jeweler, because their recent statistics indicate, that for every three potential customers, their VIP coupon holder brings with them to the store, in order to get the other diamond studded earring, (and or) really cool charm bracelet for free!
At least one out of the three will make a first time purchase of some kind!So for every 100 guest, at least 30 of them, (30% or more) will leave having made an actual purchase! Now for the charity angle.
Who Says Creativity And Charity Have No Place In Your Long Term Marketing Plans?
Now once on the actual cruise ship in question, let’s say the cruise ship director (and staff) place flyers in all the mail boxes of all the women on board, that are 18 & over.
And the flyer alerts the ladies to a special showing of some extremely popular jewelers latest “masterpieces!”
And they’re also made aware, that just for attending, at least ten ladies will walk away with a beautiful pair of women’s diamond studded earrings, that are easily valued at $400 dollars! Or $200 dollars each! And no purchase of any kind is necessary!
But the highlight of this extremely popular event, is where the jeweler “raffles” off an absolutely beautiful $3,500 dollar diamond studded necklace for just a one time entry fee of $400 dollars!
And typically about 500 ladies (or more) will leap at the chance to win!I’ll let you do the math! 😎 But those 500 plus raffle entrants, basically reimburse the extremely savvy jeweler for giving away 10 pairs of women’s diamond studded earrings and the necklace!
Plus the fact, it totally reimburses the extremely savvy jeweler for allowing one extremely lucky lady to add some additional eye catching bling to their already impressive collection! 😎
And you know she’ll be texting, posting to FB, Instagram, Pintrest and tweeting about it like crazy! And of course, the other ten ladies that won those ten free pair of beautiful diamond studded earrings, you know what they’ll be up to as well!Right?
For sure this jewelers mobile responsive WordPress blog, and or website and phone will be blowing up with all types of inquire-es!
And just wait to they reach the shore again!Every time they step out to any social events of any kind, (including family holiday dinners and or gatherings),you know which pieces of newly acquired bling they’ll be strutting big time! Right? 😎
Now in the interest of time, we’ll cover the charity angle in part two!Okay! Good enough! So see you in part two!Now as is customary during this part of our show.
