Have you ever noticed (or actually) stopped to seriously consider “how” the gold rush of 1849 and successful Internet marketing, have an awful lot in common? Say what? It’s true!
Stop to consider that, the original -population exploding- California gold rush of 1849, actually started the year before, when a previously unknown gentleman named James W. Marshall, while building (of all things) a sawmill, discovered a gold nugget in all places, the American River.
This led to any and everybody -with a dream- of ever becoming wealthy, to head to the west coast in search of their fame & fortune! These products and services included some of the more obvious things such as, pics & shovels, gloves and overalls etc. And some not so obvious services, such as maps that generally pointed out known areas where decent amounts of gold were supposedly discovered!
Tons of restaurants and hotel were built to accommodate California’s exploding population! Lots of smaller parcels of land were sold to individuals, in the hopes of their being large deposits of gold somewhere on them etc!
Of course the tourism business in general literally exploded in California and home sales were brisk as well! All as a direct result of James W. Marshall’s tiny discover!
The real point is, as far as you and I are concerned. The other eventual successful online marketers, will need certain must have products & services, in order to succeed as well.
