As you previously discovered in part one of this series about effectively utilizing proven examples of target marketing,to easily make more money faster! As was also mentioned and advocated.
Entrepreneur, don’t be bashful about who you’re targeting! Remember, you’re trying to compete, right? Therefore your target market needs to know just how serious, devoted, skillful and capable you are about acquiring and keeping their continued patronage!
You can scream it from the rooftops all you want! And you can continue (like far too many) of your clueless major competitors do and create those non serving self centered image ads. Or whatever you prefer to call them. That particular name is attached to that type of advertising strategy, because while it’s arguable whether they actually do anything for your image. They will do absolutely nothing for your bottom line, other than drain it! So good luck with that.
It’s far better and way more profitable to show them! And that’s what the remainder of this blog post is about!
Introducing A Couple Of More Proven Examples Of Target Marketing At Work!
Let’s say you’re one of the areas top residential real estate brokers and your firm specializes in the upscale homes that range in price from a half million up to about five million dollars.
So needless to say, your bread & butter clientele are men & women that are in the annual six, seven and eight figure a year neighborhood. And guess what else? They routinely wine and dine, socialize and they are in business partnerships with others in the same camp. Are they not? Yep.
They know and or are related to prominent Dr.’s, lawyers, CEO’s of very successful local businesses of all types, shapes and sizes. (Remember that point, because it will become extremely relevant in just a moment.)
They also know and socialize and are related to, others in business who routinely network with local contractors of all kinds, teachers, Professors, CFO’s, (Certified Financial Officers) accountants, nurses,executives, prominent local chef’s, University coaches, athletic directors, restaurateurs, as well as managers and assistant managers etc.
And so the list goes. Here’s the point; one of the people they (both) socialize with and are active members in the local chamber of commerce with, is one of the top local appliance dealers in the area.
So here’s what the extremely savvy (high income earning) residential real estate broker proposes, to the savvy appliance dealer. Whenever they list one of their upscale homes and whenever they’re showing the homes to prospective high income buyers.
They’ll showcase one of the appliance dealers state of the art 72 inch flat screen TV’s and $5,000 dollar home entertainment systems as well! (Think about that for just a moment!)
When You Target Market Let There Be No Doubt!
And to take things a couple of powerful marketing steps further!
1.) First, whoever the agent is, they’ll hand each prospective buyer(s) a special extremely time sensitive new customer only VIP discount coupon to the appliance dealer and make them aware of two things.
A.) By going to the special lead capture page web address on the card and joining the appliance dealers opt in (and or ) mobile marketing list, they’ll automatically start receiving special periodic VIP announcements on closed to the general public blow out private party sales events!
B.) Plus, about every six months, whenever the appliance dealer receives used merchandise that was repossessed (forfeited) because of non payment! The appliance dealer will offer the merchandise first to their VIP customers!
And it will be greatly reduced in price, because it’s used! (The appliance dealers version of a private greatly reduced in price scratch and dent sale!)
2.) And whenever the appliance dealer is about to unveil a brand new state of the art (and really upscale) home entertainment system with all the bells and whistles etc!
You know, the ones that start at $10,00 dollars and up! They’ll (of course) send all the opt in email and or mobile marketing subscribers a special heads up VIP alert!
But whenever the broker gets a listing for one of the high end ($five million dollar) listings.
They’ll just happen to showcase that exact same system in the home! So all of those upper income earners can see it first hand, as they view the home! And their understanding will be, whoever eventually buys the home, can buy that exact or a similar system, at the dealers actual cost!
You get the point, right? Whoever owns a half a million to five million dollar home, probably entertains other high income earners and host various dinner parties and business meetings, right!
What do you think a percentage of those guests will want when they see that state of the art home entertainment system? Just staring at them! Bingo! Entrepreneur, is there any doubt! Hope not! Can you see how these type of proven, low cost, high powered examples of target marketing, can and will dramatically increase your income? Now as customary during this part of our show.
