(You Believe In Yourself Don’t You?)
Have you heard about this? Entrepreneurs scramble to get invited on some of the top podcasts. At least in America. They turn flips and pull out all the stops.
And they finally land a huge opportunity. And according to some really reliable sources. The day arrives when they’re scheduled to appear as a guest on a major podcast. They not only fail to show up.
But a staggering 98% don’t even bother to call and give reasons “why” they failed to appear. Can you believe that? Do you think it’s a lack of courage on their part or what?
Just Starting Out Small Is Definitely Not A Crime!
Since I literally have no idea “why” they (or you!) Would work your you know what off! Secure a guest podcast invitation on a major show. Then not bother to show up! 😀
Where Exactly Is Your Lack Of Courage Actually Coming From?
Personally, the moment any and all of the largest, most relevant podcast in my entrepreneurial based niche. Decides my particular skills and the marketing strategies and tactics I recommend.
Are of value to their particular audiences. I definitely won’t “ghost” them on purpose! 😀 To each his own. But “how” often will you and I get invited on a major influencers podcast?
And to not bother to show up. Or give any advanced notice as to why. This type of self sabotaging behavior just seems beyond the pale to me. (Where do you stand?)
If ever, (or when!) TedX finally comes knocking. You can bet yours truly will leap at the chance to further expand my brand visibility. 😀 Wouldn’t you too?
Does It Really Make Sense To Go After The Major Podcast Shows! (Until You Have A Little More Real World Cred And Value To offer!)
If you’ve never been on a show with more than a 1,000 subscribers. Then you may experience some gitters, correct? So why not get a little more real world seasoning under your belt first? Before approach the far more established shows.
And please know the major podcasters in any niche. They’re definitely not hurting for a lack major players to be on their shows.
Instead they have to quickly eliminate those requests which they’re pretty darn sure. Aren’t going to meet the value driven bar! Personally. If I’m not considered worthy enough to be consistently invited on to the major podcasters shows just yet!
But a gazillion shows with at least 200,00 are more open to inviting me on to their podcast, radio or TV show’s etc. 😀 I’ll gladly go with the latter.
Because it’s definitely not a lack of courage on my part. How about you?
