Why You Definitely Need To Automate And What The Navy Seals Can You About It!

Do you know anybody that was or currently is a member of the US Navy Seals? They are without a doubt, in the upper echelon of the US Special Operations Forces hierarchy, are they not?

Of course, right about now, you’re probably wondering what if anything, the navy seals has to do with any of this, right? And how or what powerful business lesson they can teach you, when it comes to why you should automate  at least some of the crucial parts of your business?

Well, before you discover the simple answer to that question, don’t forget that, this highly trained elite unit, is basically expected to complete their assigned mission, no matter what the particular circumstances are. After all let us not forget, that the word (Seal) in their name is an acronym for Sea, Air and Land!

And their highly specialized and totally unique, and extremely rigorous  training can and usually does take place in extreme hot or cold! Or in the most treacherous jungle or in the most unkind of deserts known to man! and no matter what, these elite individuals are expected to perform flawlessly! (And for the most part they usually do!)

No matter what or how challenging their particular physical surroundings and or circumstances are! Based on that rather interesting back drop, you’ll see what if any connection that has to do with the need for your particular business to automate some of the more challenging parts of your business.

And how doing so, may help prevent you from leaving some of your extremely hard earned profits on the table!

So What Extremely Critical Lesson Can The Navy Seals Teach You About Why Your Business Definitely Needs To Automate?

(And How Doing So Will Make You Money!)

As a quick side note: (entrepreneur) did you know or realize that it takes a grand total of 30 extremely brutal and grueling months of highly intense and totally unorthodox training, before a Navy Seal is considered actually ready for real world deployment!

Now in order to finally put this post into the proper context. These same highly trained and (can’t do without) military personnel, that have actually taken part in some of the CIA’s most covert real world and extremely dangerous missions, you could ever imagine! They were recently asked to participate in another highly usual assignment.

And for a nice change of pace, (this time) it wasn’t a life or death situation! Get this! They were asked (to simply) dawn some rather shabby looking street clothes, so that they would appear at least semi homeless!

And they were asked to go (of all places) to the Big Apple (New York City) and simply pan handle (ask complete strangers for money) (that’s correct) for a grand total of 30 consecutive days!

That’s it! Now remember what you’ve just read about how hard they must prepare physically and mentally, throughout their entire training exercises! That being the case; entrepreneur are you sitting down? Because believe  or not, a staggering 97% of those mentally and physically  tough Navy Seals couldn’t and didn’t finish their panhandling assignment! Say what?

Why Sometimes Automation Is Even More Durable Than The Navy Seals!

That’s correct! And the primary reason(s) a staggering 95% of them gave? They couldn’t personally handle the psychological affects of personal rejection! Bingo!

Yep; they couldn’t stand (emotionally) constantly being told no in so many words! Navy Seals? So if only 3% of them could handle rejection emotionally and they’re some of the most mentally tough individuals walking the planet!

What does say about the rest us and our chances? So here’s the point entrepreneur.

Your WordPress  (or whatever particular platform) your blog happens to be, and or your website (hopefully) has an opt in offer of some kind on it, does it not? And if it doesn’t you hopefully realize that it should.

Let’s say 25,000 total visitors have come to your site over the last month, and for (whatever reasons) they say no to your pop up opt in offer! My friend, can you imagine the total psychological affect that would have on you (or I) if 25,000 consecutive people said no to our offers!

Could you personally stand it? And just keep on keeping on, like water off the back of a duck! (Yea, may be a paltry one or two percent of us could! But a staggering 97% of us or more couldn’t!)

Imagine if you were tele- marketing and your next 25,000 live phone calls, resulted in someone saying no! Or you were trying to go door to door!

Could you shake it off emotionally, long enough to make the right presentation, to the right prospect! At the right time! The point being, because you’re smart enough to automate that entire-let’s get to know each other better- process online, you & I by pass all the tedious heavy lifting!

And if we didn’t and we had to physically offer our free opt in offer to each individual visitor! My friend more than likely, 99% of us, would have closed shop long ago! Don’t you agree? That’s the extremely valuable business lesson, the navy seals can and should teach you, about why your business definitely needs to automate at least some of the crucial parts of your business. Any questions?

    • Thank you for your incredibly kind words Nic!

And as far as installing autoresponders go, don’t feel bad bud because I know
exactly how you feel! I’ve been there too!LOL!

I struggled with a lot of the tech stuff as well!
But you just learn at your own pace!1

And create your follow messages just like you are talking with a close friend!

Be yourself and you’ll do fine.I’m glad you some found some value and thanks for your
continuous support and for your extremely kind words!

      I truly appreciate both!

    • Excellent Adi!

Glad you found some value! When you put automation in perspective vs the
normally tough as nails navy seals, then it becomes more obvious just how
value that relatively inexpensive piece software is.

And why automating certain parts of your business, is simply a must!

Thanks as always, for stopping by and sharing your extremely valuable insights.
      And for your continuous support.

      I truly appreciate both!

  3. Mark,

What a great way to remind us of the value of automation. I don’t automate a lot of things but those autoresponders are invaluable.

I still feel a twinge of upset when someone opts out of my autoresponder system, so I can imagine how hard it would be to have daily “No’s” coming at me.

For your information, emotional well being is the most difficult task for probably most human beings. I once had a client who was a retired Figher Pilot and he said that being a Fighter Pilot was nothing compared to being able to handle HIS WIFE! The emotional reactions and the rejections were much harder for him to deal with than the tasks that required fearlessness and intense concentration.

    Warmly,

    Dr. Erica

    • Isn’t that the truth!
We do take autoresponders for granted, but like you say, what a lifesaver!

And a fabulous way to leverage and automate our efforts online.

Because as you point out, there is simply no way the vast majority of us,would be
able to endure that type constant rejection for sustained length of time!

let that relatively inexpensive, yet highly efficient piece of software handle the
      heavy lifting, absolutely!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your insights and for
      offering your support Dr. Erica.

      I truly appreciate both!

  4. Well Mark, now you’ve got me thinking how those poor homeless people could automate what they need to do, to survive. And, I know that’s not the point of your Blog post, but you’ve certainly done a great job at highlighting the need for automation on a Blog. Where would we be without autoresponders? It would be VERY difficult, probably impossible for most of us!

    • You got that right!LOL!

Who in there right mind wouldn’t at least be partially negatively affected by
      all that constant rejection!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!

      I truly appreciate it!
