Hey again Mark,
I’m actually living in the US for a long while now, but I’m still French at heart. You know what they say, “you can take the man out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the man.” Well, that works for women too of course 🙂
My whole family is still in France, though. I’m the only one here 🙂

Awesome Sylviane!
So does that mean that you’re fluent in both French and English? If so, that is really cool.
What are the most striking differences you’ve noticed between the two countries so far?
Do you ever feel like moving back?
Hi Mark,
Sad to say, many corporations don’t understand any of that.
In France (where I’m from) for example, employers/corporations believe in time off way more than they do here in the US.
They know that an employee who knows he will get time off, and after he gets time off is way happier and more productive that one that doesn’t. That’s why anyone working in France has at the very least 4 weeks off per year, and many people get more.
Also, I can’t stand when the boss doesn’t even show the good example, like many don’t ( I know of few just like that) they can’t even encourage their employees because they have no clue. Sad.
Thank you for sharing those great tips.

Thanks so much for sharing your own personal experiences Sylviane!
And I had no idea you were from or currently reside in France! Awesome! And I’ve heard about the amount of
time some workers have, especially as it relates to the culture here in the US.
That’s why automation is so awesome, although not when it permanently displaces workers per se!LOL!
But in terms of automatically performing certain must do activities, like are pre written autoresponder
messages being delivered.
And you’re right, when employees/associates are in better health physically and mentally, they just naturally
perform better and longer! And they fell better about doing so! Go figure!LOL!
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts! As always your support and feedback are much needed and greatly appreciated!
BTW, your blog post title looks extremely interesting! Because try as I may, Linkedin has not been (to this point anyway),
one of my more productive social media platforms. So I look forward to your take on it.
Because you always offer some great insights!
