You Consistently Do This And Your Cash Strapped Small Business Will Surely Fail!

Have you ever thought about, and or, are you currently using, any type of traditional, and or conventional advertising methods, for your semi to severely cash strapped, small business and or service?

If you are, word to the wise, stop it asap! Otherwise, your business and or service, will (either) be nowhere near as profitable as it could or should be. Or worst yet, you’ll go broke in the process.

Not much of a choice I realize, but it’s none the less true.

And the primary reason being, conventional, (and or) so called traditional advertising methods, are for big buck, deep pocket corporate types of businesses and or services. Not the Mom & Pop variety, which all too typically goes broke, trying to use it.

A Mom & Pop mid level operation, should not be trying to use outrageously expensive, D.O.A. (Dead on arrival) type of institutional advertising methods, because you need enormous amounts of continuous exposure, in order to break through all the daily marketing clutter, which is all around.Be it on or offline.

You Definitely Wouldn’t Continue To Purposefully Put Your Small Business And Or Service At Risk Would You?

Here’s just a really small sample of what I mean. Hopefully you are already well aware, the best estimates, by some of the most respected advertising and or promotional strategies experts.

They say, it’s going to take on average, at least seven to twelve unique exposures, using outrageously expensive, traditional advertising mediums, such as local radio, TV and or newspaper etc.

(Big hint: Those dismally dreadful stats are nowhere’s near close to truly being accurate!) You’d be and or will be extremely lucky, if your 30-60 second, institutional, local radio and or TV ad, manages to some how break through the daily marketing clutter,in just seven or twelve exposures!

Look, even major corporations, who spend millions of dollars annually, on their glitzy ad campaigns, advertising their batteries.

Even though they constantly manage to flood their airwaves, with their endless ad campaigns, an astonishing 40%, still confuse them with with their major competitor, which features a celebrity bunny rabbit in their ads!  Say what? Nod your heads cadets, because it’s true.

Really Effective Lead Generation Campaigns Will Dramatically Lower Your Upfront Traditional Advertising And Or Promotional Costs!

Case in point, let’s say you (and or) you and a really savvy partner, and run a fairly successful, upscale women’s boutique shop. And for the past year, as a direct result of one of those extremely smooth talking outside sales reps.

You’ve come committed at least $10,000 dollars a month, give or take, to run a slew of local, 30 and 60 second, prime time, commute to and commute home advertising campaigns. And truth told, you’re desperately trying to build your company’s image, in the overcrowded marketplace, just like outside sale rep strongly suggested you do.

And after all the smoke clears, and you really put a pencil to your dismal results. Your actual cost per lead, in other words, based on the total number of first time potential customers (leads), who actually came to your store.Or visited your WordPress website and or blog etc.

Irregardless of whether they bought anything or not! Your average cost per lead, was a staggering $475 dollars!Now just imagine this, you spent at least $475 dollars, of your extremely hard earned money, to get a potential first customer in your boutique or to your website/blog.

And they spent all of $27 dollars, purchasing a 16 oz. sample of one of your best selling fragrances! How long can this possibly keep up? Especially since, or if, you don’t have any type of proven back end income generating, long term follow up process in place.

Why It Definitely Pays To Continuously Develop Your Entrepreneurial Skills!

What if, you inexpensively tested this alternative lead generating approach, and instead of investing the entire $10,000 dollars of your monthly, local prime time radio & TV campaigns. You tested this. You’ll allocate $,5,000 dollars, and or half of your traditional ad budget this way.

And closely monitor your results. Since your best selling, 32 oz. bottles of perfume, typically retail for at least $60 dollars.

But your actual hard cost, is usually a little more than $30 dollars. Five thousand divided by thirty, basically equals 166. (5,000/30=166. Or 166 x 30 =$4,980 to be exact.)

So here’s what you do, find at least 25 women who currently work in a state workers building, with at least 7-20 floors in it. Let those first 25 women state workers, purchase any one 32 oz. bottle of your best selling perfume, for just your actual hard cost of $30 dollars (and or X.)

But give each of them six, extremely time sensitive, VIP brand new customer only discount coupons, to pass out to their co-workers, supervisors, neighbors, in laws, closet girlfriends, sisters, daughters, Mothers and or anyone else they choose!

Would It Really Be Such A Bad Thing To Put Your Best Lead Generation Efforts On Steroids?

Meanwhile, you and or your staff create a little friendly contest, with two separate 1st grand prize winners! Say what? Your first grand prize winner, is the lady who has the most VIP, brand new first time customer discount and or gift certificates redeemed, before they expire!

Let her choose her choice, of one of your best selling, 32 oz. (and ) 64 oz. bottles of perfume. Because you know she’ll, now gladly continue to be a non stop, walking talking billboard for your boutique! Right?

And your other 1st grand prize winner, is the lady who actually generates the most gross volume for you, before those discount coupons expire.

And all the other runner up ladies, give them a time sensitive discount coupon, to purchase any one item in your boutique, up to $500 dollars,(or X) for your actual cost, plus any and all applicable taxes & fees etc.

And see for yourself, which battlefield tested lead magnet approach, yields the most bang for your buck.And creates the most profitable and sustainable sales funnel.

(Added bonus: Remember, long after your outrageously expensive ad campaign quickly fades from the consumers short attention span memory! Those state workers will still constantly be getting compliments and inquiries, on where and how, that got that great smelling perfume!)

So the $64,000 dollar question now becomes, should your semi to severely cash strapped small business and or service, continually throw your hard earned money down those institutionally advertising black hole!

Never to be seen again! Or should you at least divert some of your current ad/promotional budget, into the more ninja style marketing strategies? The final choice is definitely yours! So choose wisely!
