Basic Marketing Strategies: Who Would Think Great Tasting Barbecue Would Fit Into The Mix!

Do you like barbecue? (Just between you and I. Great tasting barbecue definitely fits into my long term  eating plans. 😀 ) But the reason I ask. Would you ever think or believe basic marketing strategies and great tasting barbecue could work together?

To help you or your major competitors systematically grow your front & back end gross profits. Watch extremely close. How you or your major competitors can strategically use the love of some great tasting barbecue.

Or a popular pizza, Mexican or Chinese restaurant etc. How these local, non franchised vendors. And their extremely loyal customer bases.

Can and will help you or your major competitors. Inexpensively grow your business or service. Are you okay with that?

It’s Definitely Time To Start Implementing Some Income Producing Activities!

So put your very best marketing guru or gurette hat on. What do you think will start systematically happening to any local barbecue pit owners bottom line?

Once or as soon as the word gets out about them implementing the following marketing strategies & tactics. Let’s say a local, non franchised retail appliance store.

Finally decides to at least inexpensively test some of these non traditional marketing/promotional methods. They will  initially arrange/inexpensively test during the usually warm summer months of X to X.

They’ll finance 100% a free drawing. Where once a month a local wins an extremely time sensitive discount coupon. For $300 or X amount of credit towards barbecue, wings, soda and side dishes.

Each month the 1st grand prize winner can decide how they’d like to spend (or invest!) their credit.

The locals are responsible for any amount over the credit. 😉

You Start Systematically Helping Local Non Directly Competing Vendors Grow! (And Watch Your Long Term Gross Profits Grow Too!)

Remember you literally have a ton of marketing flexibility here. For example the barbecue pit owner(s) could just as easily target local business owners. (With you or your major competitors financial support of course. 😎

So the owners could test placing a big sign inside their single or multiple locations. If the barbecue business owners already have their own paid email service provider.

In that case. The barbecue owners while steadily building their very own opt in email list. They will simply – periodically send their subscribers.

You or your major competitors must approve any and all of the extremely time sensitive offers they send to their list on your behalf. You might offer x% off when they come to your store/showroom.

But they automatically get X% more off up to $1,500 or X number of dollars. Provided they drag a friend with them. Whose at least 18 years old.

There’s Literally A Ton Of Previously Untapped Marketing Leverage With Other Local Non Directly Competing Vendors!

And as long as their guest joins you or your major competitors opt in email list before they leave your store that day. The guest can save 30 or X% off up to $1,000 or X amount of dollars.

Otherwise, if for whatever reasons the guest doesn’t want to join your list. Then for an extremely limited time they can save 10 or x% off up to $200 or X amount of dollars.

But here’s the other previously untapped marketing opportunity. The barbecue owners vendors. They also have employees, extremely loyal customers successful vendors of their own, correct?

So the extremely marketing savvy retailer. They offer their employees, best customers and their best vendors. You or your major competitors best market tested, extremely time sensitive discount coupons.

And they use them as extremely sensitive upsell incentives. Or for new employees or for employees who refer new employees. Or give them to new vendors. For becoming new vendors of the barbecue pit owners.

And as an additional ethical bribe. As the major holidays approach each year. All those vendors can pass out the retailers extremely time sensitive gift certificates to  their employees. Only new first time customers only can redeem the certificates.

Are you starting to better appreciate “how” some basic marketing strategies and tactics, can work extremely well. With some extremely great tasting barbecue. I hope so.
