(They May Not Always Be So Obvious!)
Without a doubt. Even in your given area. There are most certainly some avid beer lovers, correct? And a percentage love premium beers as well, agreed?
So that percentage of individuals. For the most part have no problem paying more. In order to enjoy some premium beers, wines and champagnes. This being the case.
There are at least a few recurring situations. To tap into some potentially profitable, long term marketing opportunities. Don’t you agree?
Let’s Laser Focus On Getting The Word Out! (Without Breaking The Bank!)
For a moment let’s say you’re a successful premium beer distributor. And for the most part. You distribute your premium beers, wines and higher end champagnes.
Just like the vast majority of your major competitors. Only now you’ve gotten far more serious about lowering your front end costs. This being the case.
You and or your major competitors seek to form some Joint Venture/JV revenue sharing arrangements. With some local, non directly competing vendors.
Who needs your target customers. But for different reasons. And more than likely. The two of you don’t invest the same amount of money, in terms of customer acquisition.
For each new first time customer. And “if” your 1st time customer acquisition costs is higher than these local, non directly competing vendors! My friend the pre profit opportunity bell is ringing awfully loud!
Because this means. It’s definitely worth inexpensively testing! To accurately determine. If it makes economic sense to invest in subsidizing some of the vendors ongoing marketing and or promotional cost.
Knowing and understanding at some point in the vendors sales funnel.
Their first time and or long term repeat customers. A percentage of them will also ultimately become your 1st time customers. For literally pennies on the dollar.
So in essence. You and or your major competitors will become an going part of their back end. The sooner you can expand the exposure to your great tasting premium beer(s.)
The more first time and long term repeat customers. For literally pennies on the dollar!
You Really Can Leverage Your Current Advertising Costs Into Some Far More Reliable Results!
Rather than just waste a ton of money, on outrageously expensive, traditional ad campaigns.
Instead, what if you and or your major competitors formed some strategic JV arrangements. With other local, non directly competing vendors.
Such as some of your areas top, mom & pop owned pizzerias. They could offer it to their customers.
1st.) First, every customer of the pizzeria, who spends at least X. They automatically get one of the premium beer distributors, best market tested.
Extremely time sensitive discount coupons. The customer can save 10 or X% off the purchase. Of either a single bottle and or 12 or 24 case of premium beer.
However, simply for dragging a friend with them to the distributors warehouse/showroom. Who’s at least 18. (Or whatever the legal drinking age is in your particular part of the country and or world!)
They get their choice. To buy any one premium beer product of their choice. And they get their choice! And as long as their guest joins their opt in email list. Before they leave your showroom that day.
They too can make any one purchase of their choice. At actual hard cost. This should help boost their viral, positive word of mouth and mouse.
