And there in lies the real key, to these type of leveraging of various assets, type of marketing strategy.Huh?

Think about their temporary arrangement for just a second. Under no circumstances, is the drilling company, liable for any unpaid property taxes, or liens placed on the land,while they’re paying to drill on it, right?

And by the same token, the landowners, are not responsible for any minor or major losses or ongoing expenses of any kind, incurred by the oil company, while they’re in the process of drilling, right?

Small Business Owners Can Definitely Learn A Potentially Profitable Lesson Or Two From Oil And Gas Industry!

Case in point: Let’s take a look at the companies that make (produce) the NFL jersey’s, and or those incredibly popular team jackets, that millions of fanatical NFL (National Football League) fans purchase year after year! Or every few years.

For the millions of rabid fans that purchase those (not exactly) cheap team jackets. There are definitely at least, a few more, potential, untapped front end profit centers, and a few untapped back end marketing opportunities as well.

For one thing, maybe one of the most popular sports magazines of all time, that of course being sports illustrated, might include one of their best market tested index card offers, in one of the jacket pockets! Say what?

And just like one of the mega profitable drilling/leasing arrangements, the oil & gas company, doesn’t actually own the land they’re drilling on, right? But both parties definitely make out, right?

And sports illustrated doesn’t actually own the popular NFL sports jackets, they’re placing one of their best market tested index card offers in, right? Nor do they need to, in order to profit from this particular strategy!

For ex: They might approach one of the manufacturers that produce NFL team caps, and offer to literally buy millions of them, (on consignment), for just  10%25% above manufacturer-s real cost!

And offer them some extremely time sensitive upsell bonus purchases, to their customers, and save their customers  40% off the normal retail price! Which means they’ll still gross 35%! (10040% = 60%25% = 35% gross net.)

So if 30% of the (literal) millions of customers who take advantage of one of sports illustrated best  front end offers, which means 300,000 thousand plus consumers, also take advantage of sports illustrated extremely (time sensitive) upsell offer!

And on and on it goes entrepreneur! The main point being.
