Of course right away your professional skepticism meter is literally off the charts, is it not? Because you don’t really believe for one second. Successfully growing your business or service has never not only been easier.
But providing on ‘how” you or your major competitors ultimately go about doing so. Your long term success is a whole lot more likely. Especially since you or your major competitors can strategically and systematically do so for literally pennies on the dollar. “How” you so skeptically ask? Entrepreneur turn the page.
But keep your creative marketing eyes wide open. And see “what” starts to consistently happen over time. Fair enough?
This Is Why You definitely Wanna Keep Building Your Personal Brand As Often As Possible!
So for this particular hypothetical marketing illustration. Let’s use your up and coming women’s cosmetic distribution business. It’s no secret your fragrances are incredibly popular among your main demographics of women between the ages of 21- 60.
And no matter what or “how” they currently pay the bills. They’re always open to purchasing at least 3-7 bottles of great smelling fragrances. Or the next 3-7 year period. (give or take.) Provided your fragrances are not only competitively priced and you provide reasonable long term customer service.
I mean whose up for purchasing something and constantly paying anywhere from 25-125% markup or more. It makes no sense, correct? On the other hand. In order to systematically get the ball rolling. Let’s say one of your lower end 32oz. bottle fragrances.
Which typically retails, (kinda) on the high side of things for $129 per bottle. (But truth told your actual hard cost is just $79 dollars.) So it would definitely make sense to first of all wear the great smelling fragrance yourself.
And this would include to work. And where you grocery shop. Where you currently or will be steadily working out very shortly. if you’ve got a kid or kids in daycare.
To any and all social functions you plan on attending. Whenever you meet up with your local girlfriends or your besties for a girls night out etc. And of course where you currently or plan on getting your hair or nails down periodically.
Entrepreneur You Or Your Major Competitors Strategically And Systematically Tap Both Your Personal And Professional Inner Circles! (your organic Positive Word Of Mouth And Mouse Buzz Will Definitely Start To Takeover!)
Case in point. You head out to get your hair or nails done. Or both both hopefully within the same week. And before you actually get serviced. One of the other regular female customers comments on “how” much she likes your fragrance.
And immediately wants to know where she might be able to not only purchase a bottle for herself. But possibly her sister as well. Look at what just happened. (And keep in mine you haven’t actually even set in your stylist or the owners chair yet.)
You can easily arrange to sell her a bottle your 32 oz. bottle at just over your hard cost. And not only charge her between $89- $99 dollars per bottle. But ask if she has at least 5 or X number of locals who may wish to purchase their first 32 oz. bottle for just $99 dollars or X.
Knowing from a percentage standpoint at least X% of them will either:
1.) Constantly tell X number of their closest friends, co-workers, neighbors, extremely close relatives and besties about your greatly appreciated marketing generosity.
2.) They’ll be constantly bragging both on and off of social media about their extremely good fortune courtesy of you or your major competitors.
3.) A certain percentage of them will not only make additional more expensive purchases. But a certain percentage of them will systematically refer other potential first time customers as well.
There’s Definitely A Whole Lot You Or Your Major Competitors Can Do On Your Own! (But There’s No Good Reasons For You To Try To!)
Ladies & gentlemen have you noticed to this point nothing is extremely time consuming or outrageously expensive. Instead it’s all sort of organic to this point. Don’t you agree? Of course you or your major competitors can get as proactive as you wish to. And for just a moment getting back to the 5 or 6 girlfriends you hang with on your monthly girls night out with.
You could provide each of them (who wants one!) with free sample fragrance of their choice. This way you know they’re ten times more likely to wear it. And constantly share “how” they acquired their free sample.
Which both you and your major competitors already know all too well. From those free inexpensive samples. A percentage of these recipients will definitely inexpensively develop into some long term repeat customers.
Again did you notice no mention of a $25,000 dollar a month advertising budget? No purchasing of outrageously expensive local newspapers, local billboard ads . And no outrageously expensive local primetime radio or TV ads etc.
No constantly posting on an endless amount of social media platforms etc. So are you starting to better appreciate “why” successfully growing your business or service has never been more do-able? I sincerely hope so.
