Ladies and gentlemen since you’ve decided to work for yourself. It’s ultimately up to you to create systematic opportunities to for yourself, correct?
BTW, even I wanted to turn the entire content creation process over to others. I’d still ultimately be responsible for either paying or compensating them for doing so, right? Sure with enough laser targeted traffic coming to my self hosted blog every month. I could definitely barter/exchange giving certain content creators massive free marketing exposure. In exchange for them constantly cranking out problem solving content.
Working for yourself sure sounds sexy, does it not? But in the end it’s up to you and I to consistently make things happen, right?
Wanna Know How To Promote Your Business Or Service? (Even If You’re Not Anywhere Near Close To Being A Fortune 500 Company Just Yet!)
Quickly picking up where part one left off. Your barbershop, nail or hair salon can and definitely can represent more than just a place to get their hair or nails done.
But in order to make this potentially profitable transition to the very next level or two. You or your major competitors have to see past the immediate trees of extremely low hanging marketing opportunities.
And start appreciating the entire forest of previously untapped marketing possibilities. let’s say your barbershop currently has a total of four chairs including yours.
In reality you or your major competitors actually have at least five opportunities to offer local, non directly competing vendors extremely time sensitive, market tested gift certificates and or first customer only discount coupons.
And you can inexpensively test offering them as free upsell bonuses for the customers of the barbershop for spending X more dollars.
And let all four or X number of vendors compete. 😀
This Is How You And Or Your Major Competitors Create Income Producing Assets!
First of all who says each chair “has to” pass out different coupons to their customers on the same day. They could either do the same one for a week. Or the same ones for two weeks.
And just systematically rotate them. This might prove to be both extremely interesting and potentially profitable, correct? 😀 Or the owner(s) of the barber shop allow a local, non franchised retail appliance store owner.
To place a rather large cut out of a 65-75 inch, state of the art flat screen TV in their shop. And either customers of the barber, nail or hair salon customers could enter their free drawing. By joining their opt in email list.
Or they can simply fill out/print their first & last name and best phone number on an index card. And place it in either a fish bowl or box. And each month or each quarter the owner(s) reach in and draw the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grand prize winners.
Who Says You Can’t Or Shouldn’t Monetize Your Various Assets And Or Resources?
Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Lets say a 175 locals fill out an index card and place them in a fish bowl. (This presumes this particular non franchised retailer doesn’t currently have their own opt in email service provider set up yet.)
So the owner(s) simply sell the leads to the retailer. In this particular case. Just $20 or X dollars per lead. (In this particular hypothetical marketing example only.)
Those 175 local leads would cost the retailer $3,500 dollars. At just $20 dollars per lead. (175 x $20 dollars each = $3,500.) So at $3,500 dollars per quarter. This means the barber or nail or hair salon owner just grossed an additional $14,000 dollars per year or X.
If their monthly commercial lease is $1,500 dollars a month or less. They just paid for 9 full months. Did they not? Obviously you or they would earn even more. If they charged the retailer a flat rate of just $40 dollars per lead or X.
Ladies & gentlemen are you starting to appreciate the long term earning potential when you work for yourself? I sincerely hope so.
