In other words, first they identify through countless surveys and other feed back mechanisms  like focus groups etc.

And then they take the most requested subjects and they use persuasive copy writing techniques to compel you to pick up the magazine and buy it!

Way back in the day, the editors of Readers digest, used to rely heavily on the all important feed back of their readers. In order to make sure that the subjects they wrote about were relevant and profitable.

They would send a short survey to certain segments of their paid offline subscription base, asking them to enter a free contest.

And guess which of the ten titles they had listed, would actually appear on the cover of an upcoming issue. How ingenious!

They would simply tally the top five winners, and three of those headlines would serve as the most preferred lead magnets to the general public!

Can it get any simpler than that? Entrepreneur, does that give you & your top joint venture partners, any new marketing research ideas?

If it’s good enough for companies like Readers Digest, why isn’t it good enough for you?

 Use the Education Based Marketing Approach To Increase Your Market Share And Inexpensively Expand Your Influence!

Of course you should use this opportunity to convert your findings into powerful free lead generating information products. You know, the usual suspects, like:

Particularly pay close attention to the women-s magazines. And you’ll notice tons of (creative) opportunities to spin their main power headlines.

For ex: take a look at the following three (rather) plain headline statements. And watch how you can instantly transform them into targeted lead magnet blockbusters!

Put The Emphasis On Making Your Small Business And Or Service A Problem Solving Venture!(And Watch How Valuable You Start To Become In The Eyes Of Your Prospects And Customers!)

1.) Survive the loss of a loved one!

2.) Create great summer hair during the winter!

3.) Prevent identity theft now!

Of course you’d have  to inexpensively strategically test, but there is more than a very good chance, that simply by adding the two best market tested power words to the beginning of all three of those (statement) type of non benefit orientated  main power headlines.

You’d have an  instant winner!  And those two power words are “How To.” Yep! Telling your target audience “How To'” do something they’re interested in (more times) than not.

Totally grabs and holds their attention, don’t you agree?

For ex: Creating an explosive free three part (lead generating) audio series entitled:

“How to prevent your credit card company from totally messing up your credit rating! (Even after you’ve missed a few  payments!”) Is a surefire way to raise a few eyebrows and pique the right target audiences attention, don’t you agree?
