Word of mouth marketing  (And Or Overly Complicated Either!)

Have you tried the paid advertising route in order to scale your business and or services? It’s not exactly cheap to do so, is it? Of course once or as soon as you or your major competitors finally create a winning ad campaign.

Then you can scale your paid efforts for sure. Usually that’s not what happens, correct? 😀 Most beginners struggle to consistently write winning ads campaigns. So they’re basically forced to stop or temporarily pause their paid ad campaigns.

On the other hand learning how to create winning positive word of mouth marketing campaigns. Is nowhere near as difficult, nor as time consuming. As learning how to write persuasive copy. Don’t yo agree?

Let’s Talk About Strategically Taking Things To Very The Next Level Or Two!

Let’s say you’re an independently owned retail furniture store owner. You really can and definitely should test segmenting different local audiences.

And depending on how potentially lucrative the long term back end residual component of your business or service is.

You and or your major competitors might discover it’s worth laser focusing on break even or just above break even 1st time customer acquisition. In monetize the back end going forward.

Case in point. (And as always. The following hypothetical marketing examples. Are strictly being used for marketing illustration purposes only.)

Imagine your furniture store sells some really nice baby cribs. And you want to market the higher level line to your local female customer base.

So you do what else? Hold a free monthly drawing. Where the monthly 1st grand prize winner, automatically wins a state of the art baby crib.

Which typically retails for $3,500 dollars or X. That type of lead magnet should help you and or your major competitors build a rather large! And hopefully responsive opt in email list, correct?

See Your Potential Advertising Costs As Your Chance To Pivot!

And your 2nd monthly grand prize winner automatically gets to purchase the same crib for your actual hard cost. And your 3rd monthly grand prize winner saves 25 or X% off.

But all the other monthly runner ups. They get that really nice looking bubble bath bundle in the featured image.

Which is an X dollar value. Provided they drag a friend with them, who’s at least 18. Before the ten or X day expiration date window expires completely worthless.

They come alone and they only save 10% off their total purchases. Simply for dragging a semi qualified friend. And they get the bubble bath bundle. Plus they save 20% to boot. 😀

That ought cause a certain percentage of them to take to social media, bragging like crazy, correct? Fellow profit seeking entrepreneurs.

No matter “how” you ultimately slice it. Potentially profitable word of mouth marketing definitely does not have to be overly expensive, correct? (Happy new year in the states BTW!)
