It’s no secret traditional advertising or promotional costs are gradually heading north, correct? look around both on or offline. And you’ll quickly conclude your traditional PPC (Pay Per Click) ads are anything but cheap. Imagine spending $.862 cents for a single click.
And whether your offer is optimized or not. Eight dollars and sixty two cents just left your account. Or even more just depending on which particular terms your campaigns are bidding on.
On the other hand. What if you or your major competitors could at least inexpensively test some other potentially profitable marketing strategies or concepts. Which ultimately over time systematically lowers your traditional advertising costs. You’d at least like to know about it, correct?
Strategically Getting The Word Has More To Do With Your Marketing Creativity! (And Less To Do With The Overall Size Of Your Current Or Future Advertising Or Promotional Budget!)
Right out of the gate. Ladies & gentlemen please do not convince yourself, that just because you don’t currently have direct or indirect access to a fortune 500 type ad or promotional budget. This automatically disqualifies you from being or becoming an effective marketer or promotor.
Granted, the promotors with outrageously large budgets and direct and indirect access to the top advertising/marketing or promotional talent currently walking the planet.
Of course they’re gonna be able to effectively utilize social media in ways we currently can’t. Or they can invest tens of or hundreds of thousands of dollars in off hours late night/early morning cable TV info-mercials.
Or pay or strategically JV (Joint Venture) revenue partner with major influencers. Who systematically promote their products or services for either some type of pre-agreed upon front commission percentage. Or for other pre-agreed upon back perks (benefits.)
Like free or extremely low cost use or access to the products or services. Like ‘how” some of the worlds top super models or mega influencers routinely get direct or indirect access to extremely high end villas or town houses all over the world. Or temporary use of luxury cars or first class air travel or extremely high end perfumes, high champagnes, the looking bling or you name it.
In exchange for them either. Periodically promoting various world wide brands, products or services via their extremely high profile social media accounts.
Or simply stepping out to an extremely high social event. And maybe they’re strutting around with a pair of extremely eye catching diamond studded earrings. Which typically retail for $1,500- $2,500 dollars a pair. They get typically get them free.
So How Do You And I Routinely Benefit From Lower Advertising costs? (Just Like The Ultimate Insiders!)
Case in point. What or “how” much would you typically expect to spend to advertise on a show or platform which routinely has just north of 200,000 eyeballs? Probably thousands of dollars each time, correct?
But what if it only cost you your time. Say what? What legitimate platform would allow relatively unknowns like you and I to access their audiences for free you so skeptically ask? It honestly depends on “what” type of proven platform you’re referring to.
What if you or I are routinely guest podcasting on incredibly popular podcasts. Like Kerry Lutz’s extremely popular “FSN” (Financial Survival Network) podcast.
Which to date currently has an impressive 200,000 plus subscribers (downloads) per episode. Other than your extremely valuable time entrepreneur. Where’s your out of pocket hard costs? And “if” you don’t currently have any types of phobias, are either being recorded or appearing in front of the camera. What’s your excuse?

Strategic guest podcasting is simply not a viable marketing or promotional strategy for you right now. If for whatever reasons you’re simply not comfortable being in front of the camera or being recorded.
But What If You’re Not Yet Ready To Appear In Front Of The Camera Or Be Recorded? (What’s A Potentially Viable Marketing Or Promotional Alternative?)
So glad you finally asked. It’s also presumed. (Whether it’s right or wrong. ( At least 98-99% of you reading this particular post. Both now and in the not so distant future.) You’re not super models nor are you major influencers just yet, correct?
Maybe your offline, non franchised gourmet coffee shop could periodically set up a series of meet and greet “Customer Appreciation” day events in your local area. Starting with X number of the top local, non directly competing vendors or suppliers.
You already have established relationships with. And leverage those relationships into others. Basically you or your major competitors, (with the permission of the vendors involved
And you not only serve each vendors staff, customers and their vendors or suppliers and mail carries who stop in that day.
But going forward. You9meaning) your staff involved, provide every one with Xtra large plastic Big Gulp cups. And now each time they bring the cups back to your gourmet coffee shop.
Instead of paying the usual retail rate of $5.79 or X per cup. They only pay $1.99. So you know a certain percentage of them will be constantly bragging both on and off of social media, right? And word will quickly spread.
Let Your Major Competitors Focus Solely On The Overall Size Of Their Marketing Or Advertising Budget!
Let’s say you’re the senior or only marketing/PR (Public Relations) director for a local women’s cosmetic distribution company. And while the vast majority of your major competitors are content to pay literally tens of thousands of dollars for fancy one or a half a page spreads in some of the most popular women’s magazines.
Instead you take a far more proactive approach. You attempt to temporarily partner up with some of your areas most popular upscale women’s clothing or shoes stores. And you provide every female customer who spends at least X amount of dollars.
They automatically get offered the chance to join your opt in email list. For their chance to enter your free monthly drawing. Where each month your 1st grand prize winner(s) automatically wins one of your most popular, higher end mid level fragrances. Which usually retails for at least $850 dollars a bottle.
This way you systematically build an opt in email list of consumers who’ve spent at least X amount of dollars with your partner company. But every women customer.
No matter “how” much or “how” little they spent. They automatically get as a totally unexpected bonus worth X. A sample 32 oz. bottle of one of your most popular fragrances. Which usually retails for at $109 or X dollars a bottle.
So you know at least some of them will be constantly bragging to both their personal and professional inner circles, right? Coming up very shortly in part two. You or your major competitors will “discover” at least three more non traditional strategies. Which are definitely a proven alternative to outrageously expensive advertising costs.
