Why Successfully Building Your Business Means Helping Others Do The Same!

Hopefully you understand and agree with the whole reciprocity approach to strategically growing your business or service, right? You help me and I do the same, correct? What “if” it turns out you and I are JV (Joint Venture) or strategic cross promotional partners?

Even if the cross promotional aspect is informal. Like maybe you have a rocking podcast. And I appear as one of your guest. Obviously you and your team will continue to promote your podcast, correct?

So it’s easy to both see and appreciate  “why” systematically building your business or service means strategically helping others build theirs.

And I will most definitely pro-actively promote your episode as well. Why wouldn’t I? After all, the more targeted exposure I or you help the episode or content generate. The better it is for all concerned, correct?

There’s Nothing Like Setting And Reaching Your Smart Marketing Goals!

Thank goodness there are literally tons of (what some might consider) unconventional ways for you and I and or your major competitors to consistently generate some potentially profitable attention.

Which ultimately makes building your brand a whole lot more profitable and far less expensive. For example have a closer look at the screenshot image directly below.

Building your business

Why Successfully Building Your Business Means Helping Others Do The Same!

At least some of you may already be aware mega successful blogger Jon Morrow of “SmartBlogger” fame. (You know the guy to date whose Smart Blogger blog has generated a staggering four million visitors.

Well at one point he offered a “guest  Blogging” certification course. Which basically meant.

Not only did you and I have to fully complete his rather massive course. Bu then you/we also had to pass a not exactly easy “Final Exam” in order to receive your graduation certificate.

Like the one you see above. And rest assured ladies & gentlemen. Just like every current and future on or offline course which has a final exam component to it.

Far more will invest in the (or your!) course. Than will ever complete it. And successfully pass their final exam. But those (like myself) who do.

We get the long term benefits of strategically showcasing our graduation certificate as often as we wish to. (At least on your own self hosted WordPress blog is concerned.)

Granted, (you or I) may not be able to share the image on other online marketers blogs or websites etc. But it’s definitely full speed ahead on our own self hosted blogs or e-commerce sites etc.

And I can also periodically share it on my social media platforms. And send an occasional email to my opt in email subscribers.

But Does Some Fancy Gurus Certification Credential Really Matter In The Overall Scheme Of Things?

In the overall scheme of things I would have to say no. (So “why” bother to invest in the course and put in the necessary effort to complete and pass the “Final Exam”? Excellent question and so glad you asked.

Personally here’s the reasons for my doing so. First and foremost. According to Jon’s expert research team.

The “content marketing” industry already represents a staggering $430 billion dollar industry. And according to his research team. By as early as 2028. It’s estimated to be worth a staggering $870 plus billion dollar opportunity.

And Jon says over the years tons of mega established world wide brand have constantly approached him asking for his expert help. Because they say they can’t consistently find enough qualified writers for their various full and part writing assignments.

So Jon decided to not only create a state of the art guest blogging course.  Along with several never before shared resources. Which if you and I were to attempt to accumulate on our own. Would certainly cost a ton of time and resources.

The Sad Reality Is No One Proven Source No Matter How Qualified It Is! (Can Adequately Fill This Incredibly Large Void!)

Jon and his current and future expert team members can only do so much, agreed? Think about the current and future size of this one market alone.

And based on the current and future price of his course. (Presuming he decides to keep the course on the market.) Even “if” he somehow managed to enroll a staggering 100 million students into his “Guest Blogging” certification course.

The unspoken dirty little secret is. On average, (And Jon is not the exception!) On average a measly one or two percent at max will even complete the entire course. The other 98% on average will not.

Clearly 100 million enrollments no matter “what” the actual price is. Means somebody has just grossed a ton of money on the initial front end, correct?

It’s Still Definitely Worth It To Proactively Address This Potentially Untapped Educational Goldmine!

But in reality, (for this incredibly exaggerated example!) Even though two percent or two million students actually complete the entire course. But far less will actually pass their “Final Exam.”

Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s say half or one million students successfully pass their final exam. (It probably wouldn’t be that a high of a percentage.)

One million students who definitely have different writing prefaces or specialties. They can’t possibly fill a $430 billion dollar opportunity. Which according to the experts is expected to exceed $870 billion as early as 2028.

So hopefully you can appreciate “why” past graduates such as myself are more than happy to help in this particular, Jon further build his brand.

Because strategic cross promoting definitely helps you build your business or service. For literally pennies on the dollar. Don’t you agree?

Since Jon also has a rocking podcast. Whose to say you and I can’t appear as guest on it?

  1. Teaching bloggers is one of the simplest ways to succeed Mark. Your business grows as you teach bloggers how to grow their business. It really is quite simple but some bloggers mistakenly believe more seems to be involved in this process. However, it is just giving away whatever you’d like to achieve. Excellent message here.
