First of all major congrats. Huh? You’ve done (this point anyway) far more than a staggering 90% of all aspiring entrepreneurs will ever do. You ‘ve gone as far as getting your state of the art WordPress website or ecommerce site built.
And you’ve started periodically publishing your laser targeted, problem solving content. Good for for you. But entrepreneur (sadly) successful blogging 101 is a whole lot more than you or someone you pay to create your content may currently realize.
Not to be misunderstood here. You definitely should be periodically publishing fresh, relevant content to your blog. But it’s just the beginning of your content creation journey. Not the end.
At first the major search engines like Google don’t even know your site exists. And unless you already have major influence and lots of viable and influential online connections who can drive tons of laser targeted eyeballs to your site for literally pennies on the dollar.
Initially you’ll quickly realize it’s far more than a full time job trying to generate eyeballs to your site. The remainder of this post is dedicated to making you aware of the journey ahead..
Why Blogging And Content Marketing Strategies And Tactics Are Not To Be Confused! (Say What?)
Say for example. In order to really consistently produce cutting edge content. Which your ideal target audience can’t enough of. Find at least either two online groups. Or two relatively popular Facebook or Linkedin groups.
Because the members within these particular groups are definitely proactively looking for the most practical answers to their most burning questions and challenges.
And once they discover their cherished answers. They will not be shy about constantly sharing their discoveries with their most influential personal and professional inner circle inner circle members.
Which means you or your major competitors will constantly benefit from a surge of positive word of mouth and mouse buzz. So both on and off of social media your brand will constantly be shared.
And this additional free exposure can and will probably lead to more personalized introductions. And more previously untapped marketing opportunities.
Think of this type of laser targeting marketing exposure as previously untapped power networking opportunities. Huh? Case in point. Take a look at the two recent guest podcasting invitations I recently received.
The 1st one is from Monica Hamlett of ‘”The Reach Circle Project” fame. And the 2nd one is from Dylan Menter of ‘The How To Entrepreneur” podcast.
Always Been On The Lookout For The Benefit(s) With The Benefit(s!)
Obviously you or your major competitors strategically appearing as expert guests on these various podcast is definitely a good thing, correct? For sure. But one of the often other semi neglected long term benefits of doing so usually includes.
Others currently in or future members of their professional and personal inner circle. Will get exposed to your awesome products and services by powerful word of mouth or mouse exposure.
And as their power network continually grows. Guess what? Just as a rising tide lifts all boats. As these major influence-rs tide of influence steadily grows. Simply by association. So too will your tide of influence. For literally pennies on the dollar.
Case in point. Take a look at this recent email message Monna sent to me regarding our potential future interactions. Notice her third paragraph states “how” she plans to refer me (or you!) to her network of multiple Radio/TV and podcasts outlets which she and her team of qualified experts work with on a regular basis.
And in this age of social media awareness and strategic online marketing and constant email or text messaging communication. “who” knows or can really say where your cyber content will ultimately end up, correct?
There’s The Inner Network And The Outer Network! (You And You Or Your Major Competitors Definitely Want To Be Or Quickly Become A Part Of Both!)
Take a look at this next screenshot image below. At least some of you know both the name and face of Kevin O’Leary, right? yea the very same Kevin O’Leary of “Shark Tank” fame. Turns out Kevin is one of Dylan Menters followers. Say what? Who knew, right?
Entrepreneur Don’t Wait Until You Have A Huge Personal Or Professional Network To Get Proactive! (Instead Strategically Leverage Other Vendors Established Assets And Resources To Get You There!)
Obviously if a major influence-r like Kevin O’Leary and his current and future professional and personal network members were to share Dylan’s podcast episodes. You or your major competitors will leap frog (via strategic marketing leverage) to the top of the heap.
And who knows what this type of mega marketing exposure can and will be worth (especially) over time. Correct? And unlike a successful PPC (Pay Per Click) ad campaign. Your podcasting or guest podcasting content gets archived and remains active in cyber space.
So current and future potential prospects can be educated or entertained by it. Which may ultimately lead to new business or new JV (Joint Venture) or new cross promotional opportunities.
Either way entrepreneur. Strategic blogging 101 is definitely more than periodically posting fresh how to solving content of some kind. Don’t you agree?
