As you previously discovered in part one of this series about how the ultimate insiders (so that means you), use simple creative sales ideas to create serious long term profits, and so most times (literally) for pennies on the dollar.
As you might imagine, there are literally tons of proven ways to grow your business, however, you don’t have to over complicate the process, in order to be effective!
You simply need to inexpensively test a marketing concept on a small scale first, then after you adjust it, roll it out to your entire list. And bank your profits! (Well, at least that’s according to all the fancy marketing books and courses!
Simple Creative Sales Ideas Really Do Work!
Picking up where you left off in part one. As you recall, five small business owners, found an incredibly simple way to syndicate their efforts, lower their up front costs and create at least 25% more long term profit.
The five small businesses were: 1.) A top local florist. 2.) A local Plumber.3.) An Electrician.4.) A top local jeweler.) 5.) A savvy local corner store small business owner.
The local corner store owner(s), set up a “free weekly drawing” for ladies over 18 only! Sorry fellas. Anyway, every female over 18, that bought a large coffee (or large beverage) of any kind, they automatically got to enter the free drawing, and once per week, the store owner would contact that week’s grand prize winner (either) by text or broad cast email or regular phone call!
The grand prize winner gets one free large coffee (a blank dollar value) for the next five business days. And if they bring another person over 18 with them, and they order a large beverage of any kind, they get it for 50% off!
But far more importantly, your local florist is actually the one financing all or most of your cost! You (the savvy corner store owner) build your list and (either) your local florist, jeweler and or may be your local travel agent small business owner(s) partially finance your marketing promotion, because they’re literally shaving 75-90% off the cost of their traditional up front out of pocket cost!
Here’s how you could creatively syndicate the entire process. What if certain members of the syndication, which in this particular case might be, is the jeweler and the florist, might combine resources and each agree to contribute (invest) $250 each per week (or X amount of dollars), for (as you recall) from part one, 90 days before Valentines Day.
Only the ladies (that buy a large coffee and or beverage of any kind), are eligible to enter the free drawing. But here’s the other really important consideration, with $500 dollars extra marketing capital per week, to help grow your business, the local store owner do some really cool stuff, like create special grab bag discount coupons, and any time customer spends over X amount of money, they get to reach in and win instant goodies like, their next five foot long subs for just .99 cents each!
Or how about this “reverse marketing strategy.” A person reaches into the grab bag and they get a special discount coupon that allows them to buy their next five foot long subs (in descending order), first they pay just $4.99, then their next sub is just $3.99, then their third foot long sub cost just $2.99, then their fourth sub is just $1.99 and the last sub, sub purchase number five, is just .99 cents!
Talk about creating long term customer loyalty! With goodies like that, where do you think they’ll be buying their foot long subs from!
More Creative Sales Ideas That Really Work!
Now stop to consider this: your savvy local jeweler or floral shop owners are more than willing to finance all or part of your marketing promotion, because it’s way cheaper
then spending money on ads and local TV or radio ads etc! But follow this, suppose the floral owner or local jeweler, go looking for a savvy local corner store owner (and or) a local retailer in a mini strip mall.
In an upscale neighborhood of course! And they approach these small business owners (and or) service providers etc. And arrange to partially or 100% finance their “weekly free drawing” promotion.
If there are three other members to your syndication and they each contribute $150 dollars per week, that’s still an extra $450 dollars per week, to promote creatively your business, product or service!
Here’s the kicker! Suppose you’re a savvy local jeweler, that has two very successful retail stores in different parts of town. Once you’ve perfected this type of “think outside the box” lead generation marketing strategy. Since your company is not franchised, you can bet there are other jewelers, (or florist or travel agents business owners etc.) outside your immediate area and (guess what entrepreneur), that you easily license (for a fee of some kind-monthly or annually), that’s correct, your market tested lead generation system to!
Now you read it might be floral shop, simply substitute that business for another savvy small business owner!
Or maybe you use this concept will a company that routinely rents booths at large industry events! If four of you agree to pay $600 dollars each, that shaves $2,400 off the total cost of the booth rental!
And if three to five thousand prospects are expected to attend this three day event! And the booth rental attendee manages to capture 900 leads as a result of offering a free drawing! And you all co -own the lists! Think of how little each actual semi qualified lead actually costs you!
