Have you noticed “how” many profit seeking business owners, (small or otherwise) and or profit seeking service providers attempt to use some type of outrageously expensive traditional advertising methods? In spite of the fact their advertising strategies clearly aren’t getting it done. And truth told aren’t even coming close to doing so.
This continuously being the case. Perhaps you can now better appreciate “why” sometimes the best advertising for small business owners or service providers. Isn’t advertising at all. Say what?
That’s correct. Instead more than likely. It’s a combination of proven marketing or promotional techniques. Which even though they usually tend to be non traditional in nature.
They allow you or your major competitors to systematically grow (scale) your business or service. And not have to constantly spend a ton of money in order to do so.
And the best kept secret about this proven process is. You or your major competitors get to strategically and routinely leverage other non directly competing vendors assets and resources. So you both benefit. What profit seeking seeking entrepreneur do you personally know.
Who could possibly say no to an opportunity such as that?
You’re Probably Wondering How Can I Advertise My Small Business Cheaply?
The short and correct answer here is. Don’t focus on traditional advertising campaigns in order to get the word out. It’s outrageously expensive and your long term results will be dismal at best.
Because you have to run the ads over and over before the general public, let alone your target market even begins to notice and pay attention to them. On the other hand corporate America has incredibly deep pockets.
And they’re more than content to spend a ton of money both on and offline trying to drill their message into our collective heads. Even though with just a little marketing creativity.
Their cause (and yours!) would be much better served. As you’re about to discover. Case in point. Have you also noticed how many of these co-op type of office space arrangements have become incredibly popular and economical within the last seven to ten years? You know the type of arrangements I’m referring to. Right?
Startup entrepreneurs of literally all shapes and sizes co-op office space and share and network their current and future resources and assets. So even though you may be literally renting/leasing little more than a cubicle. (To begin with anyway.)You still get both direct and indirect access to other non directly competing vendors resources, assets and contacts etc.
The Better You Power Network! (The Better And Faster Your Long Term Gross Profits Will Grow!)
Think about the many untapped marketing opportunities for just second. First of all. Some incredibly marketing savvy retail furniture store. Sold somebody some office furniture. Correct?
And some buyers paid the full retail rates. (And gladly did so.) While others clearly did not. Right? But well beyond that. Anywhere from 20-60% of those participants in these co-ops. Guess what? They either want (right now!) or will need new or slightly used furniture for their apartment, townhouse, condo or newly purchased first or second home.
Or by extension they personally have either an extremely close relative, current, ex or future neighbor. Or a current, ex or future co-op participant who will want or need some new or slightly used furniture for their home or apartment.
Which is definitely “why” the extremely marketing savvy retail furniture store should make it both their mission and primary goal. To see to it. Every current and future member of the office co – op should receive an extremely time sensitive gift certificate to their store.
In fact initially. They can and should simply use old faithful. Huh?
There’s No Need To Keep Wasting A Fortune On Outrageously Expensive! (Dismally Performing Advertising Campaigns! (When You’re Probably Much Better Off Marketing Or Promoting Your Extremely Valuable Products Or Services!)
Old faithful is offering a monthly free drawing. But get this. This monthly free drawing is just for the members of the co-op throughout the entire building. Say what? Pretty cool. Right?
And the extremely marketing savvy retailer can actually get pretty creative if they wish to. Huh? Because going in they already know. Their ideal corporate customer, currently has a total lifetime customer value metric of somewhere between $700 – $26,000 dollars. Give or take over the next five to seven year period.
Plus their ideal residential customer(s) typically has a total lifetime customer value of anywhere from $400 – $10,000 dollars. Give or take over the next five to ten year period.
So needless to say. There is an awful lot of previously untapped marketing potential and untapped marketing opportunities to be realized. Don’t you agree? Going forward. Can you and do you now better understand and better appreciate “why” sometimes the best advertising for small business owners or service providers. Isn’t the traditional type advertising at all. Agreed.
You Don’t Always Have To Focus Or Rely On Outrageously Expensive Traditional Marketing Methods! Sometimes Yo Need To At Least Inexpensively Test So Called Non traditional Methods And Tactics!
