Why Sometimes Extremely Profitable Marketing Strategies Begin With Generosity!

Are you into writing potentially big checks for traditional advertising or promotional campaigns? Or do you prefer to at least attempt to market your awesome products or services first?

It’s no (real) secret some of the most wildly profitable marketing strategies often start from strategic generosity, right? You know, associating with certain reputable charities. Why you so skeptically ask? Because they tend to have lots of extremely well connected members.

They also tend to have very influential connections to other influential associations. They also tend to personally know other local suppliers and vendors.

And these suppliers and vendors have both employees and others suppliers and vendors etc.

And all you or your major competitors initially need is a very small percentage of these individuals in order to get the ball rolling in a major way. As you or your major competitors are about to discover.

You Don’t Need A Whole Lot Of Seed Money In Order To Build Profitable Income Streams!

Case in point. Let’s say you’re about to open your hair or nail salon in an extremely popular mall or mini strip mall. (Granted malls are nowhere as popular as they used to be. Especially with millennials.

That undeniable fact withstanding. Before opening you or your major competitors do the usual low hanging fruit marketing stuff. Such as placing signs both in the windows and directly outside your spot announcing you’re coming soon.

But you or your major competitors go a few marketing/ promotional steps further. Say what? You also place a much bigger sign both in the window and out front promoting your free drawing. Huh? You offer the 1st grand prize winner $1,000 or X dollars worth of free hair or nail styling services.

Which means they just have to join you or your major competitors opt in email list.

Remember Some Non Directly Competing Vendor Has Already Built A Database Of Your Ideal Customers!

The other thing you or some of your stylist do is shop at some of the other shops in the mall. Looking specifically for female employees. And one of your top JV (Joint Venture) or top cross promotional partners which is an extremely popular women’s cosmetic distributorship.

And instead of them investing $75,000 – $200,000 dollars on a full page ad in some of the most popular women’s magazines.

Instead they are going to give both the owner(s) of the hair or nail salons, free 64 oz. bottles of the fragrance of their choice. This way as these ladies are busily shopping in the mall or anywhere else. Their fragrances will attract enough attention to start the right conversations.

And now they pass out (hopefully) without attracting too much attention to themselves. And they will give these ladies or their husbands or boyfriends. Extremely time sensitive discount coupons. Their first three or X number of hair or nail stylings are 50 or X% off.

Only because one of the women’s cosmetic distributors will also have a make shift table in your suite. And each customer who spends at least X will also get a free 32 oz. bottle of the fragrance of their choice.

This way you or your major competitors grand opening month will definitely create a positive word of mouth buzz both on or offline. Don’t you agree?

Entrepreneur Every Body Loves Receiving An Unexpected Bonus Every Now And Again!

Both the owner(s) of the nail or hair salons and their current and future stylist. They will be given extremely time sensitive, market tested two sided index cards.

Side (A.) invites the recipient to join the women’s cosmetic distributorships opt in email list. So they’ll be eligible to enter their monthly free drawing. For their chance to win two 64 oz. bottles of fragrances which usually retail for $650 dollars each. Say what?

And side (B.) informs the recipient to come to your store before the ten or X day expiration date window expires. They come alone and they save 10% off on any 64 oz. bottle of perfume in stock.

But just for dragging a friend with them whose at least 18 before the expiration date. They can purchase any 64 oz. bottle in stock which usually retails for $650 dollars a bottle.

However, for an extremely limited time they can purchase it for half or just $325 dollars a bottle. And as long as their friend/ guest also joins the women’s distributorship opt in email list before they leave the store. They get to purchase any 64 oz. bottle of their choice and say 40% off.

If for whatever reasons they decide not to join their list and leave their store. Only to return the very next day. They pay whatever the current prices are.

Hopefully it’s clear “why” sometimes extremely profitable marketing strategies and tactics begin with strategic marketing generosity. Don’t you agree?
