Why Sometimes Even Savvy Entrepreneurs Just Gotta Cut Loose And Have A Little Fun!

Why Sometimes Even Savvy Entrepreneurs Just Gotta Cut Loose And Have A Little Fun!

So you probably agree that today’s extremely savvy entrepreneurs, definitely have enough on their plates, right? In terms of trying to run a successful business of any kind. On or offline.Agreed.

But here’s the thing, sometimes, in spite of everything they (and or) you and I constantly have going on,  every now and again you still need to just cut loose every once and a while and just have a little fun. Don’t you agree? Great!

Now, not to be misunderstood here. You (and I)  have plenty to do!Today and going forward. But in order to keep from going completely nuts and temporarily flipping out when the constant and never ending (and always) increasing challenges of being in business for yourself rears it’s seemingly insurmountable head.

Sometimes (one of) the absolute best (and proven BTW) forms of therapy is to simply poke a little fun in general at your particular industry and at yourself specifically!

So in the spirit of that (a while back) I took the liberty of heading over the video software making site, called animoto.com  (and no that’s not an affiliate link!) and created the following two and a half minute parody video.

It pokes fun at some of the out of control, over the top ego maniac marketing consultants in general and yours truly in particular! Please check it out and let me what you think! Honestly, you definitely won’t hurt my feelings!

Because Extremely Savvy Entrepreneurs Such As Yourself Recognize And Understand That Sometimes You Simply Gotta Cut Loose And Have A Little Fun!

Without a doubt, this post definitely qualifies as one of my shortest ever! And any of you that have read any of my previous post, you definitely know that I can be more than a little verbose at times, correct? That’s why this parody video was done! Check it out and please let me know what you think in the comments section below.

You’ll definitely have to listen to the back and forth dialogue between the two characters. Otherwise you’ll miss the entire point! Continued success and enjoy! And hopefully, after watching this video, you too will agree, that sometimes, extremely savvy entrepreneurs such as yourself, just gotta (lighten up a bit), cut loose and have a little fun already!Don’t you agree?

  2. Hi, Mark,

I couldn’t agree more with the message you shared – we are all very busy, and having some fun is definitely needed. 🙂

Cute video indeed. I’ve never used Animato before (I may have played with it once) because I’ve always had either Camtasia or ScreenFlow. I liked the part about getting something to eat at the end. LOL

However, Not sure how you can promise something will increase my profit by 25%….I mean if you were sharing a case study and said that’s the results you got, I could see it, but there are so many variables in all of our businesses, not sure how you can say that. Just wondering that…

Anyway – thanks for sharing that, and I will be talking with you soon.

    Have an awesome Monday! 🙂

  3. Mark — I’m impressed that you created your own animated video. It was fun and just shows how much entrepreneurs can do themselves to promote their business.

    • Thanks Jeanette!

Yea, a while back one of my Coaches had used it to pretty much do a spoof video
about himself a while back, when he was really struggling and money was constantly going
out and virtually nothing was coming in and of course well meaning friends and family members were literally
pleading with him to just throw in the towel already!

And get on with his life!LOL!

Of course today is a totally different matter, as he points out, some of the very same nay sayers,
have since joined list list, invested in his “how to” products and services!

And have even invested in some of his higher end one on one Coaching packages
      as well!LOL!

How cool is that? Thanks so much for stopping by and adding to the conversation!

      It’s greatly appreciated!

  4. Very clever Mark, or should I say Mr. Marketing? Seriously, of course I agree with you about the value of cutting loose from time to time. I never truly understood the meaning of the term “mental health break” until I started working for myself!
