Why Original Word Of Mouth Marketing Will Always Be An Evergreen Strategy!

So given the choice, (from this day) forward.

Would you rather take the time, (not to mention) the enormous financial resources involved as well.

But would you rather continuously attempt to create, winning paid advertising campaigns and or promotions?

Or instead, consistently generate, some potentially bank account filling, original word of mouth marketing buzz? Me too!  😀

Especially if this perpetual word of mouth buzz, is constantly being generated, by various people and or organizations with major influence.

After all, any and every time you can get an individual and or a respected organization to endorse you, in some way shape or form.

You’re generating some major, potentially profitable marketing leverage. Don’t you agree?

Can Anybody Deny The Absolute Power Of Word Of Mouth Marketing!

Of course it definitely makes sense for you and I to be strategically using some type of paid advertising and or promotions.

But what you definitely have to avoid, is using outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional paid advertising and or promotional campaigns.

For several extremely valid reasons. But two of the most logical reasons are:

1.) When you’re using outrageously expensive, traditional advertising mediums. It’s a whole lot easier for your major competitors, to try and knockoff, (copy) certain parts of your traditional advertising campaigns.

2.) You’re generating little or no bankable marketing leverage whatsoever, when you’re using traditional advertising methods and or campaigns.

How And Why Marketing Through Word Of Mouth Offers So Much Potentially Profitable Marketing Leverage!

Let’s suppose you own a very successful beverage distributorship.And you specialize in some great tasting coffees, teas, cocoas, lemonades, high end wines and champagnes.

And while you’ll definitely continue to invest some money in outrageously expensive gourmet magazines and other specialty magazines.

Instead, you are definitely on the lookout, for some non traditional, underground marketing opportunities.

Case in point. You might approach the local, retail furniture concern, where both you and some of your staff bought at least some of your home and office furniture.

And propose the following. You’ll gladly provide the owners with free 20 lb bags of any of the coffees they want, for their morning meetings,in exchange for them agreeing to do three things for you.

Power Word Of Mouth Marketing Is Definitely The Name Of The Game!

First: You want them to expose their staff to your great tasting, gourmet beverages.

Second: You’d like them to give away a bottle of your best tasting champagne to any their customers who spend over $2,500 (or X amount) of dollars.

Third: Any of their customers who purchase office furniture and they spend over $10,000 (or X amount) of dollars.

You want them to give away both a bottle of your great tasting wine and or champagne,to these commercial customers.

Plus, it’s very possible if they spend over $10,000 dollars or more on some very nice office furniture.

There’s an excellent chance, some of them, will want some new furniture for their home or homes, correct? For sure. 😀

You May Not Get A Fully Automated Sales Funnel But You Can Still Generate Some Positive Word Of Mouth Buzz For A Fraction Of The Traditional Cost!

You might also reach out to one of the top CPA and or law firms. And have them provide their top corporate and individual clients, (with) both bottles of your best tasting champagne and wines, during the major holiday season.

And also allow them to raffle off bottles of all of your beverages, with the proceeds going to local charities.

And by the same token you could and definitely should allow some local charities to auction and raffle off, some of your beverages and keep 100% of the front end proceeds.

And of course make darn sure all the executives of the various local charities, and all their staff gets access to your goodies, so they’ll both spread the word on and off of social media.

Plus buy gifts for their neighbors, in-laws, co-workers, employees, closet friends and or relatives etc.

So can you now better appreciate why, the original word of mouth marketing, is an evergreen strategy? Let’s hope so.
