Now that you’ve had a chance to initially read. And hopefully re-read part one of this ongoing series. You should now better appreciate, how and and why now is the perfect time for you or your major competitors to start consistently implementing some effective marketing strategies and tactics.
Don’t you agree? For one thing. The vast majority of your major competitors. Are stuck in the mindset of using outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional advertising or promotional methods.
Even though their overall results. Clearly indicate it’s definitely time for a change. Which is why you or they should be at least inexpensively A/B split testing various, non traditional lead generation strategies or tactics. And closely monitoring your overall results. Don’t you agree? Take a closer look. And see how many potential untapped marketing opportunities, you see. Fair enough?
So What Are Some Good Marketing Ideas? (You Or Your Major Competitors Should Be At Least A/B Split Testing!)
Great question. And so glad you finally asked. Quickly picking up where part one left off. As you vividly recall. Your single location. retail jewelry outlet. Just successfully negotiated a strategic JV (Joint Venture) arrangement with either. A local upscale, hair or nail salon owner. Or both. (because there i absolutely no reason(s) why you.
Or your major competitors, can’t successful implement these effective marketing strategies and tactics. With both of these type of must have service providers for the local women in your immediate area. Because both constantly come in direct contact with your ideal female prospects. Especially if there shops are located in the upscale areas of your city or town.
So now that the proper marketing foundation has been re established. Imagine the following marketing/promotional scenarios constantly unfolding. In either the local upscale hair or nail salon. Or both.
In any event. You or your major competitors definitely wanna do a little something extra for the owner(s) of both the hair or nail salon. Right? Absolutely.
This Where Ethical Bribery Starts To Play A Massive Roll In You Or Your Major Competitors Long Term Success!
Case in point. Each anniversary of the starting of the salons. You or your major competitors will have an extremely fancy birthday cake delivered to the salon owner(s) shop. And if need be. The number of candles indicate “how many” years the shop has been open. Years five, ten and every five years thereafter. Will be reason to include additional ethical bribes, both the owner(s) and their current stylist.
Here’s the other proven way you will ethically bribe, both the owners and their current and future hair or nail stylist. First. On both the owner(s) and each individual stylist-s birthday.
You will -once again- have a birthday cake delivered directly to the shop. Along with a dozen roses and some cookies or pastries of their choice. Plus a $50 dollar grocery store gift certificate. To one of the nicest major grocery stores in the area.
Talk about long term positive word of mouth or mouse impact. Entrepreneur do you honestly think your local, prime time, 30 o 60 second radio or TV ad campaigns. Or your current or future Facebook or Instagram ad campaign, will ever have this much, long term positive impact? No way.
But even closer to home. Imagine what the customers in the shop, both currently being served and waiting to be served or obviously thinking. Bingo. Once they leave the shop. What do you suppose at least some, if not most o them are going to do.? You so got that right.
Positive Or Negative Word Of Mouth Or Mouse Buzz Definitely Lingers Far Longer Than A Traditional Advertising Or Traditional Promotional Campaign Does! (Don’t You Agree?)
Obviously it’s rare for them to witness up close. This type of potentially bank account filling marketing strategies or tactics up close. Correct? So you know at least some of them will be constantly testing, phoning and posting about this and other marketing or promotional events, you’re about to discover.
Now remember. Up until a very short while ago. Your retail jewelry store was literally wasting, (month after month after month!) a staggering $25,000 – $35,000 dollars a month. On those outrageously expensive, dismally performing local billboard ad campaigns. Right?
Now (thank goodness!) you’re go or at least strategically A/B split testing. Some non traditional lead generation strategies and tactics. Which explains why, a day or two before thanksgiving. One of your top female sales reps or top female store managers or assistant managers.
Shows up to both the hair or nail salon owner(s) shops. And unbeknownst to them. They have anywhere from 30- 50 sealed envelops. Huh? And get this. Each envelop has the following words written on the outside of the envelop. In big, bold red letters. “You definitely deserve this!”
And here’s what they’ll find. A $10 or X dollar gift certificate to one of your areas top local supermarket chains. And the first X number of customers in the nail or salon shop. Will be handed one of these envelope.
Plus, their will also be an extremely time sensitive gift certificate to your retail jewelry store. No big surprise there, correct?
Now The Marketing Stage Is Definitely Set For You Or Your Major Competitors To Hit It Out Of The Park!
If you stopped your ethical bribery campaign right there. (But you’re definitely not going to!) What do you think the customers of both the hair or nail salon will do? Once they leave the shop and obviously right after the rip the sealed envelops open.
You know some if not all of them, will immediately start texting and phoning their closet relatives, current and past co-workers. Their current and past neighbors and their current in laws, correct? Absolutely.
So here’s the next part of your long term, effective marketing or promotional campaign. You will also have your female sales rep had both the owner and every stylist currently in the shop. A $25 or X dollar gift certificate to a popular local grocery store chain.
And of course you hand the owner(s) $50 dollar gift certificates to the grocery store chain. This way yo know both they and their hair or nail salon stylist, will definitely have something really cool to constantly brag about to their current and future clientele. Agreed? No doubt.
Obviously there are no guarantees. But which of the two described approaches. Do you think provide the most effecting marketing possibilities? Agreed? So what the heck are you waiting for to get your marketing/promotional, word of mouth and mouse party started?
