If you’re a doctor, then ‘what” I’m about to share definitely isn’t news to you. And if like me. You’re not a doctor. Or you haven’t been officially licensed yet. Hopefully this potentially profitable marketing lesson won’t fall on totally deaf ears.
Because “if” it does ladies & gentlemen. Sadly, you and possibly some of your top JV (Joint Venture) or top cross promotional partners will be perpetually leaving a ton of money on the table. And what serious profit seeking entrepreneur can afford to consistently do that?
Have You Also Noticed How Certain Income Producing Activities Consistently Create Bankable Cash Surges?
So here’s a potentially profitable marketing lesson, you and I and or your major competitors. Can and definitely should learn from the multi-billion dollar a year medical profession. Ever notice “what” they do whenever you/we go for a visit?
Just before they pull out their favorite carving knife. 😀 The good and great ones assist on running a few tests, do they not? This way they can be as accurately as they possibly can with our diagnosis, correct?
And this proven process definitely makes sense, does it not? If you agree. And I certainly hope you do entrepreneur. Why in the world would you agree. especially going forward. To spend multiple thousands of dollars. On an outrageously expensive, at best lukewarm performing, local billboard ad campaign? Because once you pay for the ad.
You are stuck. Because your premise hasn’t or can’t be A/B spilt tested against another advertising or marketing approach.
And you just have to hope. A certain percentage of the eyeballs which see it. Will at some point want whatever it is you’re promoting. Meanwhile, no matter what the final outcome is. You’re/our money is gone.
Don’t Continuously Guess Unless You’d Really Prefer Not To Know For Sure!
Basically the really good or great dr.’s systematically use various tests. In order to eliminate the possibilities of what is causing our health problems, right? An after narrowing the most likely possibilities down. The sort of laser focus in on more than likely is behind our discomfort.
And so it goes with you and I, correct? A little inexpensive, (albeit) strategic A/B split testing. Helps you and I determine which approach. Or which main power headline resonates best with any particular audience, segment or niche etc.
Sadly, most aspiring entrepreneurs don’t truly understand just ‘how” long term profit generating potential is readily available to them. Simply by learning “how to” both write and strategically A/b split test main power headlines 9or email sublines!) against one another.
Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Let’s say a marketing savvy real estate broker. Runs ad (A.) and out of 100 impressions. Their initial main power headline pulls a mediocre 1%. Meaning just one potential lead/prospect responds.
Sometimes Incredibly Simple Changes Can Often Lead To Some Mega Long Term Gross Front End Profits!
However, when they re-write sample ad (B.) It pulls an impressive 14%. Which is officially a 1,300% increase. (And no it’s not as farfetched as you may currently think.) Clearly ad (B.) answers the “what’s in it for me?” angle far better than ad (A.) does, correct?
But follow the math from this point on. Now for every 100 impressions. On average 14 out of every 100 respond positively. So a 14% response rate. And let’s say they close on average just 20%. So 2.8 or two percent as a practical matter, correct? (14 x .20% = 2.8%)
Let’s say their commission average is 3%. And they sell two properties for $250,000 each. I’ll let you do the math. 😀 What’s 3% gross of $500,000 dollars in combined sales prices?
And let’s say they start running their ad quarterly or later on, (after their strategic A/B split testing justifies it!) They run a half page ad which costs $267 or X dollars a month. And they average at least two sales. And they gross 3 or X% of at least $500,000 dollars in combined property sales.
Try To In Vision Other Creative Uses For Your Traditional Ad Dollars!
Let’s see here. They (or you!) invest on average anywhere from $267 – $400 dollars per month. In at least one of the local real estate related throwaway guides. And after their strategic A/B split testing subsequently reveals which main power headline pulls best.
They know typically, for every $400 or X number of dollars they invest upfront in out of pocket ads. They’ll usually gross at least two or more sales. Worth at least 3 or X% of the gross sales price.
Or (in this particular!) hypothetical marketing example only. They gross about $15,000 dollars per month. Or $180,000 dollars gross per year. Just in front end commissions only. ($15,000 dollars per month x 12 months = $180,000 dollars.)
Ladies and gentlemen are you starting to appreciate “why” dr.’s and other aspiring entrepreneurs just like you and I. Can potentially benefit from this potentially profitable marketing lesson about strategic A/B split testing?
