Why Do You Suppose So Many Aspiring Entrepreneurs Keep Making The Same Marketing Mistakes?

Ever notice how or as soon as you or your major competitors commit to some type of advertising or promotional budget etc. Your overall bankable results are pretty much the same.

Which means more than likely, the real long term results you’re looking for or constantly seeking. Will not be achieved at least not to the level of your expectations. Until you fully recognize and start proactively tweaking your all too common marketing mistakes. Say what?

Nod your heads cadets. Because it’s true. You see more than likely. The way you’ve been going about initially acquiring your first time customers. And then the way you or your main competitors constantly lump them all together.

This all too common process is costing you a small fortune. Especially on the (more than likely) semi or totally neglected back end of your business or service. Turn the page and have a look for yourself. And see if you agree. Fair enough?

Right About Now You Have To Be Wondering So How Do Avoid Marketing Mistakes?

As well you definitely should. Right out of the gate. Let’s properly set the marketing stage. So let’s say you’re the sole marketing director. Of one of your areas most successful, non franchised moving companies. And even though you only have a single location. You’ve done pretty good over the years. In spite of the ever growing local competition.

But even so. One of the major marketing mistakes both you and your local major constantly make is. You place far too much of your traditional advertising, marketing or promotional efforts.

Anywhere from 80% or more on constantly trying to generate brand new first time customers. Say what? That’s correct. Of course you and I need all of the first time new customers you can get.

But you don’t and definitely shouldn’t constantly be investing 80% or more of your allocated resources or assets in order to do so. Huh? Because remember it’s typically at least 500% more expensive.

For you to generate a 1st time customer using traditional means. Whereas when or as soon as you or your major competitors start systematically leveraging your existing customers.

And their immediate personal and professional inner circles. Several potentially profitable things start and keep happening. Either for you or your major competitors.

Don’t Or Stop Trying To Be A Big Fish In An Extremely Big Pond! (Instead Be Or Quickly Become An Extremely Big Fish In A Much Smaller Pond!)

In other words. Stop wasting your extremely valuable resources trying to compete with all of your major local competitors in the massive general target market. Huh? Instead get extremely creative and proactive with regards to your current and future customers.

And their: A.) Current relatives or extremely close friends. B.) Their current, past and future neighbors. C.) Their current, past and future co-workers and or associates. D.) Their current or future boss. Or their current and future employees. If they’re the employer.

Do you see all of this current and future potential untapped marketing possibilities? Let’s hope so. First of all. How often do you think the typical customer, of a non franchised moving company.

Receives a “thank you!” for doing business with us birthday message or surprise gift valued at X. Bingo. You can and should annually acknowledge actual anniversary date once a year, of the individual or couple who used your services.

Because they know, work with, work for. Or they’re related in some way. Such as being in laws o other locals. Who at some point can definitely use your services. Correct?

So why constantly waste a ton of money. On those outrageously expensive, dismally performing traditional radio, TV or Sunday newspaper insert type of promotions.

Start Or Keep Leveraging Your Current And Future Customers Steadily Growing Networks!

Your proven marketing or promotional alternative is. Let’s say a couple in the higher scale area of town used your services to move into their new home or condo last year.

Provided you have them on either your opt in email or text message list. You can send them an extremely time sensitive “Happy Anniversary!” Email or text message alert.

And remind them. On this date one year ago. They initially did business with you. And to show your appreciation. They have earned a gift certificate which (for an extremely limited time!) They can save X% off their very next move.

Provided the do so in the next X number o days. Or if they prefer. They can give their gift certificate away. To whomever they wish to. Simply by having the chosen recipient call your place of business on or before the expiration date on the certificate.

And they can receive the discount. And just for referring them. They automatically get their choice between the following two or X number of ethical bribes. These bonus gifts will obviously vary. Depending on whether the referring customer is either a single man, woman or couple.

Thank Goodness Strategic Ethical Bribery Still Goes A Mighty Long Way Towards Building Your Brand!

1.) Potential ethical bribe # one: Local men receive an extremely time sensitive gift certificate, from one of your top JV (Joint Venture) partner retail appliance store owners.

For an extremely limited time. They can come to the retail appliance store an save 10 or X% off their very next purchase up to $ $300 dollars. However, simply for dragging a friend with them before the expiration date whose at least 18.

They automatically save up to 40 or X% off. Up to $1,500 dollars. This way you know both they and their guest(s) will constantly be bragging and on and off of social media. Wouldn’t you? Me too.
