Why A Well Structured Promotional Calendar Equals Previously Untapped Marketing Opportunities!

Please be brutally honest here, okay? How many times have you gone grocery shopping. And for whatever reason(s) you didn’t bring or forgot your list. Typically when all is said and done.

You will have gotten at least some of the most important items on your list, correct? But invariably some of the most important items you definitely meant to get. You forgot because you didn’t have your list in front of you, right? We’ve all definitely been there at least a time or, right?

On the other hand with regards to your ongoing on or offline marketing efforts. When you or some of your top JV (Joint Venture) or cross promotional partners establish some type of fairly realistic promotional calendar of some kind.

You systematically open the door (extremely wide!) in some cases for the opportunity to make extremely time sensitive offers to your ideal prospects and long term repeat customers or clients.

And when you strategically add opt in email marketing strategies and tactics into the mix. This is a proven recipe for some extremely low cost, long term profit generating potential. Don’t you agree?

Ladies And Gentlemen Having Or Creating A Realistic Marketing Calendar Is Definitely A Positive Step In The Right Direction!

First of all you definitely don’t wanna stress out and immediately get emotionally overwhelmed. If to date for whatever reasons. You’ve never put together or utilized any type of formal promotional calendar of any kind.

Because truth told. More than likely neither has anywhere from 50-90% of your major competitors. And thank goodness there is no written law which says your business or service has to have a formalized promotional calendar.

Of course it helps if you do. But seeing how you might be completely starting from scratch. And literally have little or no realistic clue about properly setting things up.

Back up just a bit and depending on what your main products or services are. Let’s start incredibly small. In order to initially get your feet wet, okay? And as you get a better understanding and appreciation for the entire process.

Then you can attempt to get as involved as you like or feel you need to. Sound like a plan you can not only initially get behind. But hopefully sustain as well?

Now then, if your current customer or clientele is at least half female or more. You can initially focus or at least test putting together some extremely time sensitive offers which evolve around Mothers or Valentines day. national Secretary day. National Teachers day.

And specifically target female teachers. And for the guy’s Fathers Day.

Don’t Forget About Tapping Into Previously Untapped Power Networking Opportunities With Your Top JV Or Cross Promotional Partners!

As you carefully research (aka) investigate some of what your top JV or cross promotional partners may or may not be currently doing.

It may become obvious to both of you. There are least some previously untapped marketing opportunities. You may each help the other to capitalize on.

Say strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Your non franchised, mom and pop style floral shop. You could do some type of extremely time sensitive JV promotional with one or several of your immediate areas most reputable. non franchised auto mechanic shops. Say what? Think about the previously untapped marketing possibilities for just a second.

Let’s say this local auto mechanic shop’s current long term repeat customer base breaks down this way. About seventy percent of their long term repeat customer base is currently made up of local men. And the remaining thirty or X% is currently made up of local women.

So in to get a percentage of the mechanics male customers to join your “Flowers Sent For You!” club. ( Or whatever you happen to call your long term repeat customer continuity club.)

So since you already know and have an established relationship with owner of the repair garage. You provide them with some of your best, extremely time sensitive, (first time customer only) gift certificates.

And the garage owner could simply leave them on the drivers seat. In a sealed envelop for their male customers. And the outside of the envelop will say in big, bold read letters. Music legend Stevie Wonder couldn’t miss. “You definitely Deserve This!”

So you the guys will instantly rip it open. And “discover” the extremely time sensitive offer from your floral shop. (but that’s not all entrepreneur. Say what?) You’ll discover the potential add on marketing strategy or two. Coming up very shortly in part two, kay? So please stay tuned.

Carefully Look Around And You’ll Start To See And Appreciate A Ton Of Previously Untapped Marketing Opportunities!

And provided they join and remain an active subscriber on your opt in email list. They not only save X% off their very first order. But going forward. Whenever they want to send flowers to their:

1.) Spouse.

 2.) Live in significant other.

 3.) Long term or brand new girlfriend whom they’re not currently living with.

 4.) Their mom.

 5.) Their sister(s.)

6.) Their daughter(s.)

7.) Their daughter(s) in law(s.)

8.) Their secretary or female office manager(s) etc. They can do so and save X% off each time. As long as they remain an active opt in email subscriber.

You Definitely Don’t Have To Try And Initially Go All In!

And of course it goes without saying. Both the mechanic shop owner9s) and all of their current or future employees. They all get grand fathered in for life. So they save X, provided they join and remain active opt in email subscribers.

So even if they leave the shop and either get a new job. Or they leave the industry altogether. But remain in the local area. The savings still apply. This way wherever they’re currently working. Or if they eventually open their own shop. You or your major competitors. Will still benefit from some long term, positive word of mouth or mouse. Don’t you agree?

All this from simply having a semi organized promotional calendar. Entrepreneur can you live with that?
