So I’ll bet nowhere in your wildest marketing or promotional dreams did you ever think, your long term success, could ultimately be decided by a great tasting chocolate chip cookie. Am I right or what?
And “who” would ever believe creating opportunity could be as inexpensive as leveraging a combination of great tasting chocolate chip cookies at their actual cost and some extremely time sensitive gift certificates. Say what?
Because sadly far too many profit seeking entrepreneurs are spending (more like wasting!) a ton of money on outrageously expensive, dismally performing advertising or promotional campaigns.
Like those cash draining local billboard ad campaigns. Typically a ton of money constantly goes out on this dismally performing type of ad campaigns. And very little consistently comes back in. Which is ‘why” you definitely wanna at least A/B split test the following, low hanging fruit marketing/promotional alternatives.
This Is Why Creating Lead Magnets For Your Specific Target Audience Is So Potentially Profitable!
First of all think about your all too typical, local, single location, non franchised retail appliance dealer. They typically have little or no problem paying for those outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional advertising methods, right?
So they may periodically spend anywhere from $25,000 – $40,000 dollars per month on one those cash draining local billboard ad campaigns. Or maybe they decide to spend an additional $15,000 dollars on a full page ad in one of the local throwaway guides.
Whatever the case may be. Seriously consider the following non traditional lead generation strategy. Located just three doors down in the same mini strip mall is local, non franchised, single location mom & pop bakery business.
And guess who literally frequents their business six days a week? If you said the retail appliance centers ideal local prospects. Your assessment would be spot on.
So for just a moment “what” would happen if you or your major retail appliance owners did the following. (Meaning you or they inexpensively A/B split test the following, non traditional lead generation strategy and tactics.
You Could Easily Be Just One Non Traditional Marketing Strategy Or Tactic Away From Some Major Success!
Say for example. What if you or your major competitors formed a mutually beneficial JV (Joint Venture) partnership with at least two local, non franchised mom & pop orientated bakery business owners.
And let’s say those extremely great tasting chocolate chip cookies the locals simply can’t get enough of. The actual hard cost is only one dollar. Even though they routinely retail for $2 dollars each.
So what if you or your major competitors initially invested $5,000 dollars and paid the bakery owner(s) actual hard cost for $5,000 chocolate chip cookies. Say what?
And initially on the bakeries traditionally slowest two or X number of days of the week. The bakeries place a huge sign near their cash register, even music legend Stevie Wonder couldn’t miss.
And it alerts their best customers on Tuesdays & Thursday’s only. From 9 am – 4pm only. Every customer who spends over $10 or X amount of dollars gets to purchase a maximum of two cookies for just one dollar.
Spend over $20 dollars and they can purchase a maximum of 5 cookies for just fifty cents each.
Strategically Getting The Word Out Both On And Offline Will Definitely Help You Or Your Major Competitors Rapidly Scale Your Business Or Service!
So imagine what types of pictures and really cool videos will start appearing both on and off of social media. And what types of pictures will friends be constantly sending to other friends and family members, freely bragging about their savings on some great tasting chocolate chip cookies.
But here’s the marketing rub and the real reason for you or your major competitors enthusiastically partially or fully financing this particular strategy.
It’s because the bakery owner(s) agree to let every customer who spends over X amount of money, they also receive an extremely time sensitive, two sided gift certificate from you or your major competitors retail appliance store.
Side (A.) invites the recipient to enter your monthly free drawing by joining your opt in email list. For their chance to win a $5,000 dollar deluxe home entertainment system. ( Of course your actual hard cost is only $2,500 dollars or slightly less.)
And side (B.) invites the recipient to come to your store before the 10 or X day expiration date window expires. They come alone and they only save 10% off up to $200 dollars.
However, simply for dragging a friend with them whose at least 18 before the expiration date window expires. They automatically save 40% off up to $1,500 dollars. And an additional 10% off of up $2,500 dollars.

And provided the guest join you or your major competitors opt in email list before they leave your store, they get to save 30% off their total purchases up to $1,000 dollars. Otherwise if for whatever reasons they simply don’t wanna join your opt in email list.
They save 10% off up to $200 dollars. So you or your major competitors get to double dip for literally pennies on the dollar. Say what? You’ll discover exactly what this means coming up very shortly in part two, okay?
