Entrepreneur you may or may not have graduated from a fancy, (not to mention!) outrageously expensive Ivy league school. (No worries neither did I.) You may have only graduate from a public high school like I somehow did.
But whether you formally finished high school or not. You definitely don’t have to have a fancy degree from Harvard or any other prestigious Ivy league school in order to be considered a real marketing genius.
Of course no ones arguing “if’ you did happen to graduate from the likes of Harvard or Princeton with a degree in marketing or Business Administration. Your chances, (if nothing else!) of at least being hired by a fortune 100 or fortune 500 company are pretty darn good.
But being effective at marketing and or promoting. Is not really about where you went to school or “what” if any type of advanced degrees you have. (Thank goodness for that.)

Consider the following real world case study example. Some of you may or may not know Melanie Collette (aka) “The Business Diva.”

Entrepreneur ‘how’ much so called marketing genius does it actually take in order to accept a request to be on a business/entrepreneurial based show with an outrageous reach and fanatical following?

Case in point. Here are five brain dead proven marketing strategies. Which are extremely low cost. But can definitely help quickly pump up your bottom line. For literally pennies on the dollar. It’s definitely in your long term best interest to find out “if” your best customers or long term repeat clients have a favorite?
1.) Proven rock star treatment strategy # one: Find out if they have a favorite author. If so, purchase their latest best selling book or best selling CD or DVD and have it sent to them via FedEx (Federal Express) or priority via UPS. (United Parcel Service.)
Even if they already have it. They’ll constantly brag like crazy. Both on and off of social media. (And absolutely love you for doing so. It’s dirt cheap marketing exposure to both their personal and professional inner circles.
2.) Proven rock star treatment strategy # two: Find out “if’ they have a favorite local or national charity. You can support either one with either your, finances or proven expertise.
Both they and charities will love you for doing so.
The More You Or Your Major Competitors Treat Them Like Goodwill Ambassador Rock Stars! (The Faster And Wider Your Brand Will Spread!)
3.) Proven rock star treatment strategy # three: Find out “if’ they have a favorite entertainer. If they’re going to appear locally. See if you can pull a few strings or call in a few favors.
And get them a pair of really good tickets. (Even to a popular local play.) Either way, they can drag somebody and they both now a great entertaining story to tell. For literally years and years to come.)
4.) Proven rock star treatment strategy # four: Find out “if’ they have a favorite amateur, college or pro sports team. (Including their college alma mater. If so you know they’ll love and cherish any and all memorabilia you get for them
5.) Proven rock star treatment strategy # five: Find out “if’ they have a favorite hobby of some kind. Like golf. Purchase them a really nice set of brand name golf clubs.
And see “how” often they sing your praises high and low. Both on and offline.
6.) Bonus proven rock star treatment strategy # six: Entrepreneur find out “if’ they have a favorite local restaurant. If so splurge on a $200- $1,000 dollar credit. Either once or annually. Provided their total lifetime customer value metrics justify you dong so.
Again you’ll cause them to constantly brag both on and off of social media. And for literally pennies on the dollar. You’re clearly demonstrating “why” you definitely don’t need a fancy marketing degree from Harvard. And or any other outrageously expensive Ivy league school. In order to have some sort of proven marketing genius. Don’t you agree?
