Who Says Consistently Generating Business During A Recession Is Luck?

When you take a really hard (close) look at the overall success rate for business owners/service providers in general. And small business owners/small independently owned service providers.

It’s staggering and downright scary to think. In les than one year. Ten percent of those who started are gone. And in just five short years or less a staggering 88% are gone.

And in ten years from starting their entrepreneurial journey. Another 96% are out of business. Say what? This according to some mind boggling stats recently shared by “Tony Robbins.”

You add in an inevitable recession or two. And it’s no wonder so many aspiring entrepreneurs truly believe consistently generating business especially during a recession. Is more or simply a matter of luck.

Let your major competitors rely on luck.(And sincerely wish them the best.) You on the other hand should pay close attention to this proven process instead.

Entrepreneur Get The Word Out And Watch What Happens! (Sooner Rather Than Later!)

Take a look at this incredibly simple strategy for consistently generating business. Let’s say you own a single location, non franchised retail jewelry store. And the commercial space you lease/rent is in a commercial mini strip mall with at least seven other local profit seeking entrepreneurs.

Typically they’ve all dabbled or still do occasionally use some type of potentially expensive, traditional advertising methods, right? Which can include, but certainly is not limited to the following big four.

 1.) Potentially expensive: Local prime time radio ad campaigns.

 2.) Potentially expensive: Local prime time TV ads. (Which can easily become very expensive.

3.) Potentially expensive: Mildly effective local throwaway guides. (And truth told their ad rates aren’t exactly cheap.)

 4.) Potentially expensive: Potentially expensive direct snail mail post card campaigns. (Especially since you have to constantly pay for new typesetting and postage charges each time. Those ongoing )

Number four potentially opens the door extremely wide for you or your major competitors to start strategically utilizing opt in email strategies and tactics.

So How In The World Do You Or Your Major Competitors Possibly Make A Recession Work For Not Against You?

Excellent question. Let’s (all) face it already. The real or primary reason “why” 96% of profit seeking entrepreneurs ultimately fail on or offline is because they’re financially upside. Huh? Meaning they constantly have more money going out than they do constantly coming.

Certainly once you’ve developed enough skill. You or your major competitors could purposely (either) break even or barely break even on the initial front end o your sales process. And make 90-100% of your long term gross profits on the back end of your sales process.

But the truth told. A staggering 90-97% of all profit seeking on or offline entrepreneurs don’t have any back end income producing component to their business or service.

Or simply don’t have a real clue ‘how to” go about consistently doing so. Which explains their lack of consistent cash flow challenges. Here’s the other typically untapped marketing opportunity.

So while the vast majority of your current and future major competitors rely heavily on running potentially expensive ads on or offline. You and I systematically go about generating business for literally pennies on the dollar.

Because practically every time a mega “Best Selling” author provides some much social proof for you and I or your major competitors. Some really good things start and continue to happen. Don’t you agree?
