Ladies & gentlemen, hopefully as you previously discovered in part one of this ongoing series. Just because they may refer to your successful lead generation strategies and tactics as (so called!) non traditional. Who freaking cares.
Because here’s the bottom line. As you or your major competitors become more skilled at lead generation. Using traditional methods or not. You will absolutely open doors to previously untapped marketing possibilities.
Of course you and I or your major competitors don’t have to try and take it to the levels of a major influencer like Tony Robbins.
But it certainly doesn’t hurt to know these types of opportunities are possible, right? Entrepreneur no matter “how” you or your major competitors slice it. It’s definitely in your long term best interest to start developing your lead generation skills. Don’t you agree?
Entrepreneur Do You Really Care If Building Your Brand Is Considered Non Conventional?
Getting back to our (strictly hypothetical!) Tony Robbins marketing example. Let’s say you attending one of Tony’s live events. Only you like literally hundreds of thousand of others attended the event virtually. And on Tony’s strictly confidential, pre event questionnaire. Tony asks if you or anyone within your organization has proven expertise using both WordPress or OptimizePress-es latest version.
And if you checked the box yes. You automatically get re-directed to a special page on Tony’s blog. And there ‘s a short ten minute video. Where Tony or one of his inner circle members asks if you’d like to build state of the art websites, stand alone blogs, e-commerce sites or fully functional, stand alone landing pages etc.
For a select group of Tony’s opt in email subscribers. Say what? And in exchange for doing each project for a set price. And Tony also takes a modest referral fee of 15% o the final price. In exchange for their generosity. Tony will arrange for them to get a paid email service provider.
In this particular case. They can open an account with Aweber. Which is my current paid email service provider of choice BTW. And they get complete access to a paid account.
And they don’t have to pay the current rates until their list exceeds 20,000 subscribers. Say what? That’s correct. Under this special arrangement with Tony. They get complete access to one of Aweber’s state of the art paid accounts. And if or until their opt in subscriber base exceeds 20,000 opt in subscribers.
They never pay a nickel for their account. (In reality Tony will gladly foot the bill of every vendor he selects to service his subscribers.)
Entrepreneur You Probably Have More Far More Untapped Marketing Leverage Than You Currently Realize Or Appreciate!
Case in point. The only way these authorized vendors of Tony’s can keep their free Aweber accounts is. They have to remain on Tony’s list and continue to service Tony’s subscribers under this special arrangement.
Otherwise they’re free to leave the arrangement any time they wish to. But the moment they do. Tony or one of his inner circle members will notify Aweber. And from then on the vendor pays Aweber’s current rates. Based on the vendors current opt in subscriber base.
Here’s what else Tony could do in order to further segment his various business related/entrepreneurial subscriber base.
Tony could send out a series of extremely time sensitive, previously unscheduled “broadcast” email messages. Tony could arrange at least three potentially profitable JV (Joint Venture) arrangements.
1.) Potentially profitable JV arrangement # one: Tony arranges for all of his various opt in email subscribers only! They can subscribe to either Hulu or Netflix and every referral Tony generates. They save two or X dollars off the current rates for 36 months or three years. Say what? And after the 36 month period.
They can still save $1 off the current rates. And Tony earns a referral (JV) revenue split of one dollar on the first arrangement and fifty cent per subscriber after 36 months.
Ladies And Gentlemen Do You Wanna Ultimately Make Money? (Or Be Considered Traditional?)
2.) Potentially profitable JV arrangement # two: Tony arranges for his subscribers to save 25 or X% off any luxury cruises to the Bahamas. Say what? Entrepreneur do you think any of these JV arrangements will generate any positive word of mouth or mouse buzz for Tony’s organization?
And of course Tony’s JV revenue share will be 10% of the final price his subscribers pay.
3.) Potentially profitable JV arrangement # three: And Tony also enters into a potentially lucrative arrangement with a travel agency. And his subscribers save 30 or X% off their traveling costs. And Tony and 15 or X members of his inner circle get free domestic travel inside the US.
And of course Tony and his immediate family members get free domestic travel vouchers. And Tony and his wife get free International travel vouchers as well.
The main point being here. Do you really think these non directly competing vendors care Tony or any other major influencer uses (so called!) non traditional lead generation strategies and tactics, in order to generate this business? You so got that right.
