Okay entrepreneur, this is your third installment, of this ongoing series, about how some of today’s savviest small business owners, and or service providers, systematically go about recession proofing their businesses and or services.
Hopefully now it’s not so much a question of “how” this is consistently being done, as much as, where to begin? Right?
Because, just within the first two installments alone, you should have adequate food for thought, if nothing else, to easily move you off center, and start gaining some serious forward momentum, correct?

Which BTW, if you’ll notice, to this point, there hasn’t been a whole lot of mention, about (so called) joint venture partnership arrangements, because that’s still yet to come.
For now, let’s take a look at three more non conventional ways, some of today’s savviest small business owners and or service providers, systematically go about recession proofing their businesses and or services, and how you and I can too!
So What Serious Small Business Owner And Or Savvy Service Provider Wouldn’t Wanna Know What Steps To Take To Start Recession Proofing Their Businesses?
Entrepreneur, since there is (still) so much untapped creative marketing ground yet to cover, let’s just break part three into three smaller marketing segments, which in turn, will seg way nicely into installment number four.Okay?
As you recall from part one of this series, “what” initially started the ball rolling in a major way, the arrangement the furniture store made with a local, prominent -commercial property owner couple, that currently owns twenty prime located pieces of commercial income producing real estate, remember?
And it’s probably not a stretch, to presume, this local influential power couple, routinely wines & dines, and regularly attends local charitable-fundraising- events and sits on the boards with other local men & women that also earn seven & eight figures per year,correct? Bingo!
So obviously every time the couple refers one of their closest friends, colleagues, relatives and or close business partners directly to the owners of this retail furniture concern, by way of their exclusive private number and or text message etc!
Your Semi Resourced Challenged Small Business And Or Service Is Probably Only One Or Two Market Tested Joint Venture Arrangements Away From Some Major Long Term Profits!
Of course the savvy furniture store owners will hook them up, (obviously) not as well, (or to the degree) as they did for the commercial property owners, but (clearly) enough to get both their lips flapping and their computer mouses moving non stop, 24/7!
Thrown in a few dozen text messages, (to close family members), associates, in laws and neighbors etc! Along with some really cool pictures of course!
And one of the ways, the furniture owners will display their gratitude, to the commercial property owners, is by providing them with a $1,000 dollar annual credit, to their favorite two – five star-upscale- local restaurants.
This way they can continue to spread the word about the furniture concern, as they wine & dine with other local men & women of various degrees of influence!
Your Proven Small Business Marketing Tips Should Be The Tip Of Your Opportunity Iceberg Not The End!
Here’s the next leg of your marketing arsenal. Remember in part two, after you originally mailed your piggyback insert offer, inside the commercial property owners mail to his 75 small business owner/service providers tenants, in this one particular commercial building?
And although 750, two sided index cards, offering your free drawing, for a $10,000 dollar furniture remake over, only initially garnered a (totally) respectable 60% opt in email response rate from the employees.
Meaning; of the 750 total employees of the 75 small business/service provider tenants, that currently occupy these commercial spaces, only 450 of them, for whatever reasons, only (60%) initially decided to join your opt in email/mobile marketing list.
The More A/B Split Test Strategies And Or Tactics Your Small Business And Or Service Implements The More Profitable You Will Ultimately Become!
However, without letting the cat out of the bag, here’s the other (creative) word of mouth & mouse marketing strategy, the furniture store will employ.(And or at least initially inexpensively test.)
The first 50 women through the door, with their extremely time sensitive discount coupons in hand, that are employees of the tenants of this commercial property owners buildings.
The furniture store owners (and or) store managers, will take these ladies name, and verify their exact address of which unit the company works for, in the building.
And starting the very next week, they will spring for $200 dollars worth of pizza & wings, for the office, from the pizza shop of those ladies choice!How’s that for creating some strong, viral positive word of mouth & mouse buzz!
For literally pennies on the dollar.
Are You Definitely Starting To Appreciate How Certain Small Business Marketing Tips And Or Strategies Definitely Make All The Difference!
Plus, (unbeknownst) to those extremely lucky ladies, and or any of their, (about to be wowed) totally unsuspecting co- workers, and or closest lady friends, relatives, kids, spouses, in laws, and or significant other live ins etc!( Hopefully, we didn’t skip any of the other potential major players right?)
In another week, a private local courier will show up at the office, where each of those extremely lucky 50 ladies work, and ask specifically for them! Say what?
And they will be carrying, among other things, (what else!) a giant seven foot teddy bear! And a box of gourmet chocolate, and an (absolutely) beautiful dozen, twelve stem roses and a really nice -over sized- card!
Compliments of (you guessed it!) your furniture concern!Now entrepreneur, if after these first three installments, you still don’t think, (or) worse yet, simply can’t accept the fact, this type of pro-active marketing, beats the pants off of running, outrageously expensive, local TV & radio and newspaper ads etc!
Successful Entrepreneurs Leverage Positive Word Of Mouth An Mouse Buzz Into Some Long term Residual Profits! (And So Can You!)
And will literally create tons of residual, positive word of mouth & mouse buzz, for years & years to come,for practically any of the extremely savvy small business owners, and or service providers, that are strategic and wise enough to implement track and tweak them!
Ladies & gentlemen, if you still don’t see the long term potential benefits, of pro-actively marketing your extremely valuable products and or services like this.
