When it comes to not maximizing profits. You’ll be surprised how many business owners and or service providers actually leave money on the table. And obviously not on purpose.
But sometimes it’s more a matter of equally focusing on both the front and long term back end of their business and service. And being okay with your back end being and or becoming incredibly profitable.
Could you handle or accept the long term back end of your business and or service. Being or becoming very profitable? Are you okay with that?
Building Brand Awareness Can Definitely Be Extremely Profitable! (Without It Having To Be Or Become Outrageously Expensive!)
As you recall previously in part one of this ongoing series. A rock star was embarking on a world tour. For this particular example.
Let’s say an extremely marketing savvy retailer. Decided to sponsor a local “Battle Of The Bands” competition.
And they could hold in a popular outdoor park/outdoor style stadium. And maybe invite 5-7 of the areas most popular local bands.
And the 1st grand prize winning band. The band members split $25,000 or X number of dollars. Plus they also receive 50 or X number of hours to record!
Who Can Argue Against Strategically Building Brand Visibility? (Especially If You Can Do So For A Fraction Of The Traditional Cost!)
From the extremely marketing savvy retailers perspective. The money they invest in an extremely well put together. Local “Battle Of The Band” event.
Typically stretches their ad/promotional dollars. Anywhere from 50-150% further! Because of the total lifetime customer value metrics involved.
The 2nd place grand prize winning band. They automatically win $12,000 or X number of dollars. Plus 20 or X number of hours of studio credits.
Third place wins $6,000 or X numbers of dollars. Plus 10 or X number of hours of studio time. The primary reason for the retailer sponsoring such a local event. Is so they can pass out some of their best, market tested, extremely time sensitive discount coupons.
And side “B” of their discount coupons. Invites the recipients to enter their monthly free drawing. By joining their steadily growing opt in email list.
For their chance to win a state of the art $10,000 or X dollar. “Deluxe Home Entertainment” center. (Whatever that entails.
Entrepreneur Constantly Be On The Lookout For Some Simple Ways Creatively Market Or Promote Your Products And Or Services!
Case in point. By only allowing the opt in email subscribers to enter their monthly free drawing. They can further segment their list. So they know which of the entrants came by way of the “Battle Of The Bands” live event.
Second prize could be a state of the art, 75 inch flat screen TV. And the 3rd grand prize a state of the art tablet. Which usually retails for $850 dollars or X.
The main point being. Long after the event ends. The extremely savvy retailer. Continuously generates some type of revenue. Very inexpensively, agreed?
So the $64,000 dollar burning question. Bares repeating. Who can really afford to leave money on the table?
Sometimes You Can And Definitely Should Reverse Engineer And Work Backwards To Your Desired Marketing And Or Promotional Goals!
