When You Actually Add It Up Are TV Advertising Costs Really Worth It?

Honestly, have you noticed, which of the local businesses, which continuously advertise in your area? Exactly.Me either.

It’s definitely not, the all too typical, semi cash strapped small business owner and or service provider, correct?

And one of the primary reasons why is. A semi cash strapped small business owner and or service provider, simply can’t afford to keep wasting a ton of money.

Waiting for the general public to, (first), finally take at least partial notice of their outrageously expensive promotions.

And then, after what seems like, a gazillion more dismally performing ads, finally make an extremely low end purchase of some kind.(If any.)

So at some point, the $64,000 dollar question begs asking. Are the outrageously expensive,traditional TV advertising costs, really worth it?

Because if this happens to be the situation. By then, their once promising venture, is usually in deep financial trouble. And sadly, they probably won’t recover. Sound all too frighteningly familiar? Let’s put a pencil to it, then you be the ultimate judge. Fair enough?

Whose Says The Only Way To Make A Ton Of Money Is With A Digital Marketing Funnel Of Some Kind?

Let’s hope that type of awfully misleading rumor, is not being pro-actively floated around.

Because even if it is, it’s definitely incorrect. Case in point. Let’s say, even though you’re the owner, of a single location, retail jewelry store outlet.

And your ideal female customer, has a total lifetime customer value metric, of somewhere between $6,500-$11,000 dollars. Give or take over the next five to seven years.

Does or would it make sense, for you to continually avoid, asking the question, whether or not, outrageously expensive, TV advertising costs, are really adding to your bottom line or not?

That is, given the fact, you can and definitely should, be pro-actively considering, your untapped marketing alternatives.

Don’t Automatically Conclude You Somehow Need A Digital Marketing Funnel Simply Because What You’re Currently Doing Offline Isn’t Working!

Say for example. What if your local prime time, TV or radio ads, typically produce semi qualified leads, which on average, cost somewhere between, $400 -$650 dollars each.

And you’d best believe, if your outrageously expensive, prime time time, TV or radio ad and or promotional campaign, consistently produces semi qualified leads at that cost.You’re definitely one of the fortunate ones.

Not exactly cheap, correct? On the other hand. What if you could consistently generate qualified leads, which not only produce initial sales, but they also produce, literally thousands more dollars on the back end of your sales funnel as well.

And they initially did so,(on average) for just $200 dollars per lead or less.Say what?

Who Says Your Strategies To Increase Sales Revenue Have To Be Digitally Based?

Believe it or not, there actually are a ton, of far less expensive ways, for you to not only, effectively promote and or market your retail jewelry business.

But pro-actively do so and become far more profitable in the process. A whole lot sooner.Huh?

Case in point. Since the vast majority of your major competitors, typically spend, (on a monthly basis mind you), anywhere from $25,000 -$75,000 dollars per month.

Usually on dismally performing, local billboards, prime time TV, radio and or Sunday inserts etc.So initially, let’s suppose you approach, one of the most popular women-s facial salon owners.

Where some of your female employees, and customers have eagerly patronized for years.

And here’s the initially JV (joint venture) arrangement you propose.

Put yourself on the other side of this particular transaction for just a second. And see what your initial reaction would be.

Let’s say you make an appointment, to get a deluxe facial treatment done. And you arrive on time. And when your turn comes, they simply perform the service, and when it’s all over.

Normally, you would have expected to (have) either paid over the phone, or gone directly to their state of the art WordPress website.

And used your credit card and or paid through some sort of third party payment merchant account, like PayPal.com.

Or simply paid cash at the register and or used your credit card at the register, correct?

Yet none of this has happened yet? Say what?

Building Strategic Alliances Is Definitely Worth The Effort Involved!

When the time does finally come for you (or somebody) to pay. You’re handed a sealed envelop, which simply has the words “Thank You!” in bold red letters written on the outside.

Of course, the completely startled customer, will immediately rip the envelop open, correct? No doubt.

And to their complete surprise. There will be a two sided index card among other things. And it will inform them, because they are:

 1.) An extremely valued customer of the facial salon.(Or Business and or service X.) Their deluxe facial treatment bill, has been paid in full!Excuse me? That’s correct!

Their $39 or X dollar cost, has been graciously picked up, courtesy of blanks jeweler!

 2.) Simply by bringing both this (in essence), extremely time sensitive, discount coupon, to the jewelers store, before the expiration date, and or the hand written date on it expires.

And for bringing, (more like dragging) a friend, whose at least 18 with them to your store. They automatically get to purchase, a beautiful pair of diamond studded earrings, which typically retail for at least $450 dollars a pair.

But for an extremely limited time. They can get them for just $200 dollars a pair.Say what? (Which is your actual hard cost, or just X% above it.)

Are You Definitely Starting To Appreciate How Certain Market Tested Strategies Definitely Help With Growing Your Business!

And of course, the coupon will also stress. If for whatever reasons, they decide to come alone.Even though they made it before the deadline. They only save 15% off the diamond studded earrings!

Here’s the main point. Now instead of averaging anywhere from $400 – $650 dollars per lead. Like their major competitors continuously do.

For just the cost of a deluxe facial treatment, they generate a semi qualified lead, for just $39-$79 dollars each.

And you know, she will be immediately texting, and calling her siblings, co-workers, Mom in laws, brothers wife, and or live in significant others and or closet neighbors! Correct? No doubt.

Are You Finally Starting To See And Appreciate How To Grow Your Small Business Into Something Much Larger?

Plus, some of the more valuable leads, will enthusiastically drag a friend or two with them, right? Are you starting to see how this fairly straight forward marketing strategy, beats the pants off of, doing things the conventional way. Say yes!
