What The Big Time Division One College Football Recruiters Can Definitely Teach You About Creative Marketing Strategies!

   (Because If It’s One Thing They Definitely Don’t Lack Is Marketing And Promotional Creativity!)

Entrepreneur you name it. And the top big time division one or two college football recruiters have at least attempted it? They will literally jump through hoops trying to land the “A” list talent.

The boosters are flush with both cash and enthusiasm. And they’re definitely out for blood when it comes to wanting perpetual bragging rights. They are definitely not hurting for creative marketing strategies inspiration. It seems pretty obvious, right?

Strategically Getting The Word Out Is Both Art And Science!

Strictly for hypothetical marketing illustration purposes only. Some of these big time division one and two tip college football recruiters. Have been known to go as far as. Have a local roofing contractor re-do the top recruits parent(s) or legal guardian(s) roof.

Or have their driveway freshly paved. 😀 Or pay the parent(s) dental fees. If for whatever reasons their insurance doesn’t pay it. Or if they don’t have any or very little to begin with.

These creative recruiting geniuses. Have also been known to offer the “B” level sibling a full or partial scholarship to the exact same school. 😀 Or a nearby school. Provided the “A” list athlete signs a letter of intent.

You Probably Have More Direct Or Indirect Access To Various Types Of Income Producing Assets Than You Think!

Because as soon as they do. The head coaches are already anticipating landing even more lucrative speaking engagements. Their fees go up along with the caliber of elite athletes they recruit.

These head and assistant coaches can anticipate more local and potentially more national media attention. (Providing their recruiters aren’t violating the laws which govern recruiting elite athletes.)

These coaches can also anticipate leveraging and further monetizing their steadily growing notoriety. Major book publishers who once had little or no interest in publishing their books.

Now proactively seek them out. Offering the coaches potentially lucrative book publishing deal(s.) Or guaranteeing them luxury cruises. Where they just happen to also get paid ten’s of thousands of dollars to do 30-45 minute speeches. While they’re on the cruise(s). 😀

Being Or Becoming Extremely High Profile Definitely Has It’s Perks!

And let’s not forget nor discount the fact. Local high end clothing, jewelry and shoes stores. Literally bend over backwards to have these extremely high profile men and women showcase their wares for them.

It’s literally no big deal for these head coaches to strut around with $5 – $10k brand name watches. Or $2,500 – $5,000 necklaces. Or in the case of top women head coaches.

They may also be strutting around with $450- $650 dollar a pair diamond studded necklaces. 😀 (Which means they also routinely get a ton of DM messages. Asking where they got their awesome looking bling. Any time they do a Facebook live session. 😎

And let’s not forget nor discount the impact these coaches spouses. And or long term live in significant other(s) can have on helping motivate these coaches to try and recruit these “A” list athletes.

The boosters can also promise to help the head or assistant coaches spouses or live in significant others books published. Or get them major media exposure.

For Sure There Is Definitely More Than Enough To Go Around And Around!

As soon as they land these “A” list athletes. Or help them land speaking engagements. Which now routinely pay them $2,500 – $5,000 per. Where as before. They had previously been paid a maximum of $200 dollars for a 60 – 90 minute talk. Or nothing at all. 😀

Or they can do major tradeoffs with these extremely high profile coaches. The boosters semi quietly behind the scenes. Negotiate extremely lucrative speaking engagements for these head and assistant coaches.

In exchange for these coaches, (and staff!) readily agreeing to donate X amount of hours per year. To help worthy local charities fund raise like crazy. These coaches also do extremely high profile meet & greets. Take tons of pictures with local or national centers of influence.

Freely sign autographs. And even occasionally drag some of the top “A” list athletes with them. To at least some of these media intense events as well. That extra bit of media attention never hurts, right? 😀

Hopefully these both hypothetical and real life examples. Have stimulated your creative marketing/promotional juices.

Because without a doubt. Some of these big time division one or two college football recruiters. Can definitely teach you and I a thing or two about successfully implementing some creative marketing strategies and tactics. don’t you agree?
