First of all. Will you be brutally honest here? Entrepreneur do you currently have your own information products or services? Yes or or no? Because if you’re relying on the so called easy way of starting out as some type of affiliate marketer. Your main challenge will always be.
You and i are literally at the mercy of the owners (aka0 creators of the products or services. Meaning they can decide to pull the plug or change the direction or affiliate commissions as they see fit. And you and i have no control or say so when they do.
On the other hand. You wanna know how to create opportunity and some potentially profitable mini income streams? basically leveraging your very own information products or services. Especially the digital ones.

And I’m definitely not the super techie type. Here’s my point. I currently record my podcast episodes using the free software audacity.org. (You can go to youtube and find some current updated “how to” tutorials on how to use the software.
You or have someone qualified to download it for you. and start recording either your own info recordings. Which could be later used as either value driven stand alone audio info products. Or as extremely valuable list building lead magnets valued at X.
Or as extremely valuable “fast action’ bonuses worth X.
Can A Really Inexpensive Audio Product Created Using Free Software Really Provide Value To And For Your Specific Target Audience?
You better hurry up and know it. First of all think about ‘how” many hundreds of millions or tens o billions of eyeballs per day. (from literally all over the world.) Either watch youtube videos, Tik – Tok or Facebook lives or FB shorts.
Everyday or week some extremely savvy marketers either have those videos transcribed, do they not? Or they simply convert portions of their audio recordings using free software like audacity. ( Or you can use paid software and get a little more sophisticated if you like.) And they strategically publish their 1-5 minute snippets of it all over their various social media channels.
The main point being. Because you and I have 100% ownership of the content you created. You’re free to control the marketing/promoting of it. If you and I attempt to do a guest blog post on another entrepreneur or other online organizations blog. (Especially those with large Domain (DA) rankings.
The not only have to approve our content. But they also may insist you and i alter this or that. Plus they control (decide) if and when the content will get published.
The same basically holds true for guest podcasting. To date (even though!) I have actually only had about 35-37 guest podcasting opportunities. (But here’s the real kicker for you to always be mindful of aspiring guest bloggers or aspiring guest podcasters.)
For “whatever reasons” to date only about 20 of them give or take has ever actually been published. And some of these were actually recorded as far back as two years ago or more. (Say what?)
You Definitely Want To Have Some Type Of Control Over Your Content Entrepreneur!
The reason I candidly share these (hopefully extremely eye opening facts!) with you ladies & gentlemen. Is to open your eyes as wide as possible. To the inevitable realities of being at the mercy of attempting to leverage other entrepreneurs various assets and or resources.
Sure it’s great to be invited to do either guest blog post or guest podcasting. But at the end of the day. It’s the owners of these platforms who have the final say.

It’s like going to a relative or extremely close friends house and demanding they watch what you wanna watch on their TV. Good luck with that. You and I have no control whatsoever.
Sure it would have been nice to generate an additional 15-17 more back links to my blog. Plus have the episode archived so future subscribers or casual visitors could have potentially been exposed to it. But for the long term.
“What” you and I need to constantly consider is the following. Because I have (and you could!) or definitely should have your own self hosted blog. Not one you conveniently create free on a platform like Medium.
Because their rules of engagement could dramatically change. And you and I wake up one day and part or all of your content is gone or permanently banned etc. (Please don’t think this can’t or won’t happen to you entrepreneur.)
Ask some of the biggest online marketers in the world. Who’ve recently had either their twitter, Tik-Tok, Facebook, Instagram or Linkedin accounts temporarily or permanently shutdown. Some of them more than once.
All that hard work down the drain. Keep control as much as you can ladies & gentlemen. And by keeping as close to 100% control as possible. That’s how to create opportunity which puts and keeps you and I in the driver seat long term, don’t you agree?
Leverage Other Vendors Extremely Valuable Assets And Or resources All You Want! (but Don’t Attempt To Do So Without Having Some Type Of Ultimate Control Over Some Of The Content You Create!
