Hopefully it’s not a matter of “if” you have some type of ongoing marketing budget, correct? It’s really more a matter of ‘where” and how, you’re going to allocate and direct your funds.Correct?

Which can and definitely will, make all the difference. Especially long term. Because without a doubt, when you or your major competitors are strategic and systematic, with a proven reliable, marketing plan, which of course, will in part be determined, by both your short and long term marketing budget.

A customize-able plan, which plays to your  business or services main strengths. Which will either serve you or your major competitors well.Because you’ll steam line your various processes and systems.

And doing so, lowers your overall cost per lead. By a measure -able amount. As well increases your semi qualified referrals by leaps and bounds. And definitely increases your long term repeat customer/client base. For literally pennies on the dollar.

All these enhanced benefits, are an extremely welcome relief.Simply because your current or future marketing budget. Is now working for, not against you.Don’t you agree?

What The Heck Do You Mean You Never Viewed Your Marketing Budget As Potential Marketing Tool!

Case in point. Let’s say your single location, designer, retail jewelry store. Definitely does not want to keep wasting a fortune, week after week. Month after month, on those outrageously expensive, dismally performing, traditional advertising or promotional campaigns.

Which, according to industry insiders, who constantly sell and heavily promote this outrageously approach. Those (D.O.A.) Dead On Arrival type of image advertising campaigns. May or may not build your image. But they do very little for your bank account.Other than steadily drain it.

Which is why, you had at least two of your top, female management associates, immediately become regular customers, of two of your areas, top upscale nail and hair salons. Huh?

And as soon as they establishment a personal relationship with the owner(s) of both salons.Here’s what they initially propose. As long as both owner(s), join and remain active email/opt in subscribers.

They automatically qualify to purchase, an extremely eye catching diamond studded necklace. Which normally retails for at least 2,500 dollars. Say what? And that’s not all. They also get to purchase, some sparkling, diamond studded earrings.Which normally retail for at least $650 dollars a pair.

And initially these hair and nail salon owners, get to purchase both, at your actual hard cost. Huh?

Just Think Of All The Positive Long Term Exposure The Right High Profile Customers Can And Definitely Will Generate! (Over And Over Again!)

For a moment take a look at both the hair and nail salon owners constantly growing customer/client base.

Plus their hypothetical numbers. On any given day. Six days a week. At least 51 out of 52 weeks per year. Because both owners, typically close their shops for a much needed break, if not typically for week long vacations. At least once a year.

But for 51 weeks out of the year. Normally six days a week. They, along with their other stylist, beautify about ten local women per day apiece.From literally all walks of life. And these local ladies of both affluence and influence, typically earn high five, six and seven figure a year incomes.

And these ladies are, doctors, dentists, teachers, on the elementary, jr. high school and high school levels. They’re also chiropractors,(with both individual and group practices), they’re also lawyers, estate planners, for multi seven figure estate portfolios. They’re stock brokers. Principals for jr. high and local high schools.

They’re tenured professors, at prestigious state and private colleges. They’re local judges, newscasters. Female athletic directors, coaches, on both the jr.high, high school and college levels. Right?

Are you starting to smell, the potential long term profit generating opportunities? Let’s hope so. (Otherwise, get ready to choke on your major competitors smoke.)

As Their Power Network Continuously Grows! (By Extension So Does Yours!)

They’re also full and part time real estate agents and brokers. They’re also CFP’s & CPA’s.They’re secretaries, experienced office managers, various types of certified and licensed nurses. Personal assistants, to local political heavyweights. They’re PR and social media marketing experts.

They’re stay at home Mom -preneurs etc.And on and on.So ten local women of affluence and influence per day, times six days a week Equals 3,060 local women of affluence and influence per year, correct? (10 x 6 x 51 = 3,060 x 2 = 6,120.)

And if a measly 30% of 6,120 women-s of local affluence-s personal or professional inner circles.Decides to become a long term repeat customer, of you or your major competitors.

And those 30 or X%, spend on average, just $350 dollars each. Your initial, gross front end profits alone, are a very respectable $642,600 dollars. Say what? (6,120 x .30% = 1,836 x $350 dollars = $642,000 dollars on the initial front end only.) Between the two establishments.

And of course, if 35% of them, average just $450 dollars each. You can do the math and see for yourself.

So Why Would Anyone Help You Continuously Spread The Word?

So follow the bouncing marketing ball here very closely. Let’s say one of the hair salons preferred customers, is a local PR and branding expert named Brittany Bearden. (Remember this is strictly a fictional marketing example.In order to demonstrate certain marketing concepts and strategies.)

Someone of you no doubt,  recognize the name. Because Brittany was recently a featured guest blogger on my blog. And she shared her proven expertise and her professional opinion. As to why you should seriously consider outsourcing your PR and brand building projects.

So let’s suppose Brittany is one of the personal clients, of this upscale, local hair salon owner.And as Brittany and the owner are taking and catching up. Brittany discovers, where the hair salon owner purchased, her great looking bling.

And the the owner hands Brittany one of your stores best, two sided, market tested business or index cards. And on side B.The owner writes her name, where it says “Referred By.”

And of course on side A. This is where Brittany, (and every other potential prospect), can join your opt in email/mobile marketing list. And automatically be entered into your monthly free drawing. For her chance to win a beautiful, diamond studded necklace. Which normally retails for at least $2,500 or X amount of dollars.

Don’t Forget To Always Be Systematically Building Your Very Own Opt In Email Or Mobile Marketing List!

Also on side B, is where the hair or nail salon owners. And ultimately, all the hair or nail stylist too. They will hand date these business or index cards. Typically no more than two full weeks out. Or 14 total days out.

And as long as the card holder, drags a semi qualified friend with them to your store. Whose at least 18. Before the expiration date expires.

They automatically get to save up to 40 or X% off their very first purchase.Up to $1,500 dollars.

So once Brittany comes to your store and because she also drug a friend, extremely close relative, neighbor or respected associate with her.Before the expiration date.

And your extremely marketing savvy, in store sales rep recognize, the long term, potential marketing tool. Brittany can become, for you or your major competitors.Right? Absolutely.

You immediately hook her, (and hopefully) her guest up as well. Because you discovered, on any given week. Brittany will be personally speaking and meeting  and power networking with, at least twenty local potential or current customers/clients.

And you know, a certain percentage of both the professional women and men, she interacts with. Will definitely wanna know, how they can get hooked up too? Correct? Absolutely.

So going forward. Are you starting to better appreciate, how you can and definitely should, get your current or future marketing budget, to work for not against you? Say yes!
