Three Simple Reasons Your Current Referral Program Simply Isn’t Cutting It!

  (And What You Can And Must Do Right Now In order To Fix It!)

Entrepreneur, do you honestly feel like your business, product or service is top notch? Seriously. And if so, do you consistently offer totally outstanding “take no prisoners” type of customer service? Then why pray tell, are you constantly struggling with trying to implement an effective -new customer generating- referral program?

After all, you can totally appreciate how and why it’s easily up to 300% easier to generate some type of business, (especially ongoing) when a brand new first time prospect, comes to you by way of a referral, correct?

So why the hesitancy for asking your customers or clients for more referrals? Well, if you’re doing the typical, “who else do you know that could benefit from our blank “, type of lame attempts at consistently generating referrals. It’s no wonder you really don’t like to go there!

Your Current Referral Program Doesn’t Have To Be Lame And Or Embarrassing!

(Here’s Three Really Simple Things You Can And Should Do Right Now To Prevent That From Being The Case!)

First and foremost, stopping putting yourself in this totally awkward position and enabling your customers or clients to not be able to help grow your business or service, as much as they should be!

1.) First, you’ve heard of the 80/20 rule correct? Entrepreneur, since twenty percent of your customer/client base is primarily responsible for 80% of your short and long term profits.

That being the case, make sure that you use the gift certificate type approach for generating referrals! They’ve got the most influence and are in the best position to help you increase your long term profits! Because when someone gets a time sensitive gift certificate, from someone they know, like trust and respect.

They’re far more likely to use it asap. Don’t you agree?

2.) Next, for you online marketers, seriously look into setting up some type of commissioned affiliate program of some kind. And (again) offer it to your top twenty percent of your customer/client base first!

Because again, they obviously believe in your business, product or service the most! They’re already repeat customers. So why not strategically turn their long term patronage into an extremely profitable marketing tool!

This proven approach is easily up to 500% cheaper than spending money on outrageously expensive traditional ads.

3.) Third, entrepreneur, have you ever heard the saying, “give um an offer they can’t refuse!” What that means, in marketing terms is, ethically bride the heck out of your top twenty percent customer/client base, for consistently referring you new first time customers or clients!

For ex; let’s suppose you run an extremely popular local family orientated restaurant.Since you know (or you should!) how expensive it is to generate that all important brand new first time customer.

Why not (initially) start with your traditionally slowest days, and create a special laminated card that  (they can inexpensively renew each year) that entitles your top twenty percent customers, to get any two deserts of their choice for just $.59 cents each. (Or X.)

As long as they come to your restaurant (on one of your traditionally slowest days) with another adult 18 and over, they not only get any choice of desert for $.59 cents each, but they can also purchase any really large-big gulp- soda that would typically cost $3.79 each, (or X), they can purchase it for just $.99 cents each!

Ladies & gentlemen, that’s an ethical bribe! Don’t you agree? Plus, when they come in on their birthday, they automatically get two free deserts valued at X! Provided they bring someone over 18 with them.

Otherwise, if they come in alone, they pay their regular VIP preferred rate! Can you see  how this type of proven, low cost, high impact marketing approach, is simply the ideal word of mouth generating referral program? Say yes!
