And it since currently retails $2,817.90, you decide to have the guaranteed raffle entrants just 10% of the normal retail price, in order to enter the raffle.
Which means as a practical matter, they pay just $282 each, in order to enter the raffle that will start at the beginning of the traditional outdoor barbecue grilling season (or early summer) and conclude in early fall (basically late September), just depending on the actual weather at that particular time.
Of course your raffle entrants are savvy enough to (immediately) pick up on the fact that their 10% entry fee of $282 dollars (also) means, the actual raffle winner will be saving a staggering 90% of the normal retail price!
That’s why their more than willing to leap at the chance to pay the ten percent raffle entry fee!

First of all: as was previously mentioned in part three also: 47 of your current customers decided to take their chances, so they purchased a raffle ticket for just $282 dollars (or) ten percent of the normal retail price.
Which meant, the raffle sponsor (you) grossed $13,254 dollars. ($282 x 47 raffle participants =$13,254 dollars.) And as you also recall, you purchased at least two of these top of the line (state of the art) grills, for actual cost from your local offline JV partner, and since they cost you $700 dollars apiece.
You merely deducted that $1,400 dollar cost from your total gross amount of $13,254 dollars, which left you with an unused balance of $11,854 dollars, to creatively use to help further grow your business.
Here’s the first thing you might do! As soon as you and your staff select and announce your grand prize winner. Immediately send the other 46 entrants a “‘Thanks for entering our raffle gift certificate” notification!
And include (a totally) unannounced free $50 dollar gas card! and say, “Sorry you didn’t win the 1st place grand prize! However, you did win an extremely valuable second prize valued at $50 dollars! And of course, include one of your best market tested (time sensitive) discount coupons.
Plus throw in an additional 10% off their purchase (no minimum purchase requirement!) , if they bring at least one new first time customer over 18 back with them, before the expiration date on the coupon!
That one simple marketing ploy alone should generate a few likes on (both) your Facebook fan page and theirs as well! Next, you immediately make them aware of a contest that you’ll be sponsoring very soon.
Everyone that entered the raffle, that comes to your store between two specified dates, and whomever spends the most amount of money!
They’ll automatically get a chance to buy the remaining grill outright for just $500 dollars in cash!
Or, (in the spirit of “Let’s make a deal!”) You’ll offer the grand prize winner the chance to auction it off live in your store! And they get the cash proceeds from the winning bidder!
Of course you’ll be filming the event and will upload portions of it to both your state of the art WordPress blog as well as you youtube channel and Facebook page etc!
How To Put Your Marketing Efforts On Steroids!
The next strategic marketing thing you will do is offer these 47 cash paying raffle buyers to your JV partner for a flat fee of just $1,000 dollars in cash! Or $1,500 dollars in appliances!
Plus, don’t forget, you still have $11,854 dollars left over!
You know what to do! Right? Exactly! You take ten $100 dollar gas cards and for the next ten days, which ever customer spends the most in your store that particular day.
You text them to come in and get their $100 dollar gas card! Think they’ll love that one and brag to a few friends!
Next, you choose another ten customers (guys) that have wedding bans and purchase a dozen roses, a box of really good gourmet chocolates (from a really popular) local vendor and a giant five foot teddy bear and have it delivered to (either) wives place of business and or jobs!
Plus, include at least ten of your best market tested lead capture page style business cards, for the women to pass out, so they might be next months winner! Entrepreneur, is there really ant reason to go any further with this incredibly powerful (yet ) brain dead simple marketing concept? that being the case! get to it already! And….
