So have you ever noticed, ‘how’ much time, energy, effort and money, the average, semi cash cash strapped, small business owner, service provider and or startup entrepreneur, will invest, trying to grow their business, in assets, which do little or nothing, to help them accomplish that?

And by the same token, they don’t seem to recognize, there most certainly are particular assets an or skills, when properly developed over time, will most certainly pay dividends, not only now, but in the future an well beyond.

First of all, when you, (and or) your main competitors send an email message of some kind,to your opt in subscribers, think about the three initial, potential benefits which are consistently derived, first by them opening your email message.

Which (obviously means), you or someone, with persuasive copy writing skills, convinced your subscribers, to at least open the email, based on ‘what’ major benefit or benefits, your ‘subject line’ conveyed, correct?

Next, your persuasive copy writing skills, convinced, at least a percentage of your subscribers, to click one or more of the links, and head over to another page, correct?

And if the other page, just happens to be a sales page for some of your extremely valuable products and or services, or if it’s an affiliate product and or service, you’re currently promoting.

Either way, you have the potential of earning some type of income, right? And all due to what? Because you and or someone, developed some bankable form of copy writing skills.

Entrepreneur Your Proven Copy Writing Skills Are Far More Valuable Than You May Initially Realize And Or Appreciate!

Case in point, (ladies & gentlemen), for just a second, stop and think about one particular online sub niche, where the ability to consistently write persuasive copy, fuels a multi billion dollar a year industry!

The “CPA’ (Cost Per Action) industry. Major fortune 100 to fortune 500 companies, pay companies and individuals a like, big money, for the single clicks and individuals they persuade, to fill out some preliminary form.

Some companies pay so much per lead, for semi qualified leads, so the “CPL” (Cost Per Lead) industry is currently booming as well.

In either case ‘what’s’ really fueling these industries, is someone’s ability, to persuade offers to consistently do something, right?

Your Entrepreneurial Skills Will Become Even More Valuable As Your Copy Writing Skills Improve As Well!

For just a second, start and consider, this all too common, on and offline dilemma. An aspiring newbie marketer, pays to drive some semi, to laser targeted traffic to some type of offer they’re currently promoting.

And if their offer, (for whatever reasons), is currently only converting into sales, at a dismal one percent or less.

Faced with this all too common online dilemma, ‘what’ do a staggering 97% or more of them erroneously conclude? They need to invest in even more, possibly expensive paid traffic.

On the other, (ladies & gentlemen), watch ‘what’ potentially happens, more times than not, to their overall bankable results, when by gradually improving their persuasive copy writing, and or overall marketing skills, they gradually improve the sales conversion rates.

Given Time And Consistent Effort Your Small Business Marketing Skills Will Definitely Start To Paying You Some Bankable Dividends!

Let’s say they -initially- go from closing one sales out of every 100 unique visitors to their offer/sales pages.

And now, their consistently closing seven out of every 100 unique visitors.Notice they didn’t need to spend a penny more on additional cold traffic, did they? Right!

See ‘how’ developing more persuasive copy writing skills, helped lower some of their, initial upfront, out of pocket cost? Say yes!Great! That’s the way it can and will, potentially work for you as well. Don’t you agree?

  1. Excellent topic Mark. I know many people struggle with writing, at least I’m assuming that from the number of articles whining about writer’s block and trying to come up with ideas for blog posts. But, as you’ve pointed out, it’s well worth the time to learn how to write good copy. I treat writing as a discipline and just make myself sit down and do the work rather than waiting for the little blue flame of inspiration to light the way. Words are powerful and so is learning to use them to convey your message. Thanks for yet another important reminder!

  2. Hi Mark,

Writing your website copy can be like UGHHHHHH right? I can’t tell you how times I have stared at a blank page, started writing then backspaced, and backspaced, and backspaced again, or just plain wanted to throw my computer out a window. But I know that it doesn’t have to be that way and that I can learn to write copy that converts

Thanks for the reminder and tips!
